@Waldel Martell tbh you aren't missing out. 4 is the worst in the series (however I haven't played 5 but from what I'm hearing, 5 is basically 4 with a new map and no more winter.)
@@Snarky_Queen couldve just fixed it and reimplemented it. FH4 had no working elo system for like half its life. I distinctly remember stying around 4400 elo no matter what I did. Won 2 in a row, + 30 points, never showed up. same with losses.
@@NicoHen they all ready tried to fix ranked and it didn't work so they gave up on it. Also they explained that the reason they didn't bring back ranked is because they wanted horizon 5 to be more casual (basically appeal to the gamepass kids instead of the hard-core fans.)

I feel like that 4th race track would be a hell of a struggle with S1 class. Just so much can go wrong but as you said, the Maseratis are quick but unstable and that worked out for you. Not sure that's the case with Rock getting screwed there, seems he hit the landing in just the wrong spot on the ramp, or right spot to do a kickin' rad front flip. Some very interesting watching seeing the pros do it. Very different and out there lines on some of the tracks. Enjoying the commentary, thank you.

This is actually amazing. It's clear that this game is meant to be a fun casual racer, but imagine how great the competitive scene would be to watch or participate in, if the devs actually cared to facilitate it.
This was really enjoyable to watch, great commentary and focus on the exciting parts and not only on your own view. Nice little extra information on tunings and game mechanics, would love to see more!

I would love to see more people bring to light the competitive tournaments especially if I can be turned into an esport. There is just the right amount of casual arcade along with competitive skill with FH5. I would love to see more of this.
This is very nice. I wished there was an additional discussion on the cars and their tunes before or after the race to know the balances between grip and power the drivers use
God I miss ranked, but not how limited the car selection for true ranked racing is. Brings a tear to my eye to see 12 people pick a lotus gt1, with the same build each S1 race. Great video, and amazing commentary, glad you're keeping ranked alive!
I really appreciated the BALLS to pick the different vehicle on those couple of races. Paid off big with the Jeep, not so much the Diablo, but it's bound to happen when you're the odd man out. It either goes really well or really bad lol Always love seeing stuff like this from high level Forza guys.
It sucks that there's no way to organize any kind of group race in-game, the Convoy mode is terrible and without an in-game chat or integration of Steam friendlist it's impossible to meet up with new people
I haven't played horizon 5 yet, but seeing a vintage race car as the best cross country vehicle in the game is hilarious 😂 I remember in Horizon 4, vintage race cars were the best for dirt racing.
Not sure why people are claiming the driving was insanely good or anything. Tracks are relatively easy, no real tech, just soft turns, collision is off which makes no sense cause its a ... race. not a time trial. If this is truly the highest level of racing in Forza, then I see why its so unpopular.
If more stuff like this took place under the publix eye, Playground would actually consider adding competitive modes to the game. I hope you and others continue to do this. This is the only way Horizon would ever get ranked or tourneys
This is some good shit. Though, I still think of the "upper level" as full contact. Its a shame these tournaments don't have it. I'd love to see really pro levels of racing in tournaments like this. Still. That is some truly remarkable driving all around.
