The M3 GTS is still missing the shift lights and roll cage… 🤦♂ A shame when they don’t do your favorite ride justice after taking it away after FH4. Baffling considering FH1 had those details. It’s the same model! How can they mess that up!? Cannot complain about customization though. The car is already beautiful! Go rice the regular E92. All sound pretty meh honestly, give me the Driveclub or NFS The Run sound!
It's sad to see they only do Copy/Paste... or even less! Because it's not having the Spoiler and Bumper parts from FH1 anymore... It's still a nice car, but for a "Game of the Year 2021" approach this is not enough...
thats such a miniscule thing tbh, also they aren't actually the same because fh1 was for 360 and they have to redo the cars for the xbox one version im pretty sure, it sounds fine to me

@@danielvilela7139 I understand that, but the issue is still there. I submitted a ticket to their support (again) about a week ago and assuming their answer (glad to hear your opinion) i doubt they 'll take the time to fix that. At least they should put that on their not fixing or by design....
The funniest is part being that , altough they added the GTS in FH5, I'm sure that the base model was the one in FH1. While removing the HAMANN parts has a sense (manufacturer rights and shit), the rest of them being removed makes no sense or whatsoever. They might bring them back after this update, but yeah, wouldn't bet much on that. (modders on PC version may found a workaround, knowing them xD)
thing is though there are Hamann wheels in FH5, so I'm not sure why they got rid of them same with Chargespeed/INGS/Varis kits on the '08 and '11 Imprezas, Top Secret and lower Nismo kits on the 350Z and the Evo IX exclusive Varis kit even weirder considering the CRX SiR still has incomplete, deformed and wrongly named Kaminari and Wings West kits that are instead named Mugen and Kaminari, or that the S14 Zenki has had 6 Kouki kits since Motorsport 1 while the Kouki just has a mismatched and incomplete C-West kits
@@audi-71830 at most, on the cars that lacks kits, they tend to usually disable them, saw that when i grabbed the extracted of a CR-X model from FH2 , for some reason everything was there, but only one set of skirts doesn't appear ingame Of course in FH5 the reasons might be the same or different. Still it's sad to see some of those options not put into serious use
Now Forza doesn't care about this in the past the bumpers were more even in the Toyota Supra Mustang and a lot more now just add car And they don't care about the details, that's annoying.
Idk if its just me but i feel like the m3 gts sounds better in newer games, only obvious complaint i have is the lack of customisation and small details the newer game has like the shift lights and roll cage etc
I kind of get reusing car models because the vast majority of forza players doesn't know how their favourite R34, S15, FD RX-7 or F355 look like irl so the devs can just cut that $3 on those models (at the expense of eyes of the players who know the car model deformations), but getting rid of additional bumpers and trim exclusive features? fucking really?
0:40 Wow look, Forza Aero that actually looks decent and *sorta* makes sense. I know it looks silly on this car, but try it out on any other car and it'll look a whole lot better than the one we have today. This goes especially for the wing.
Does anyone else agree that the supercharger sounds are kinda half-assed and pathetic? Half the time, I cant hear it over the exhaust and if I want to ride in first person to hear it better, I hear more of the diff whine than a supercharger whine. Dont get me wrong, diffs make alot of noise, but not to this extent!
I play it a lot but driving around a desert and small neighborhoods is not all that thrilling of a map. I never played fh4 but 3 definitely had the better areas
If they would just add anti-lag...,dashes that actually work like the lights in the M3, or the Porsche 911 they just added some updates ago, also add their old body kits...like come on man, what it's going on Playground games, I love this gamez this game is fantastic, but its getting boring pretty quickly, I mean...GT just fucked them up in customization wise..
The shift lights and roll cage is annoying but why is no one talking about the fact that the taillights on a lot of cars are way too dark, I’ve noticed it on some headlights too. It looks like it has tint, look at the f82 m4 for example
But how do they get so bad at reproducing engine sounds, cockpits etc. ? It also lacks the gearshift indicator that was on FH1. It's really a shame... Selling us a beautiful sky and well-made grass... No, but start already by making realistic cars... Sound update also on the Carrera GT

The fact that still lots of cars still have recycled sounds. Like the Race exhaust from the r34 and the mk5 supra have the same sound. The Volvo 850R doesn't sound like a Volvo 850R, it sounds like an Audi Quattro S1. I know what an 850R sounds like. The recycling of the 3d models of the cars, since fm4 I have heard.... If they just had a part of the team which were concentrating on the realism of the sounds, another part which do the modeling..... but oh well... I'll stick with FH3 and FH4. I started playing the crew 2 recently and its a good game, just use roof/hood cam and its fine. Customization is amazing in TC2
It’s a car sound, it’s not a game breaking bug. Gran truismo 4 had bad sounds and no one cared because they just played the game and didn’t cry about irrelevant things, forza “community” is pathetic

Nope. You either have shit cans or don't know what a car actually sounds like. The audio is also positional in 4 & 5 in a different way then it was in 1-3. Usee a proper surround setup that can produce the FULL range of audio. No headphones can do that, the laws of physics exist. A setup of speakers made for highs mids and lows can. Try again and btw... Drive one irl. I have, I rented one and horizon 5 is the closest. Also parts degrade performance based on what modifications are already installed. For example the highest level intercooler might add horsepower but because it has weight it can hurt performance and balance. That's why you see negative numbers. You can't just install everything and expect it to be the best. A well modified car is as close to the next tier as possible but with the right parts AND tune. I guarantee you I could build any class car that's 50 pi score lower so say A 750 and I'll destroy anything you have that's A 800 even if that 800 has a tune using YOUR part selections because you are clearly terrible at upgrading a car and don't understand the basics.
I'm gonna be honest, just from looking up a random M3 GTS sound showcase, it definitely does not sound like just a slightly modified E92 M3 but I don't think it should sound like a modified 4 cylinder

I mean, is just pgg being pgg, where is the surprise ? They removed cars from fh4 just to add them in fh5 and pretend they're giving us a lot of stuff and on top of that they keep recycling stuff without taking the time to make improvements ( and this car is another example of that ) I say another example bc we can take cars like the good old Silvia , the 22b , same models from more than a decade ago or even new cars from the season pass like the xj220 twr with Honda engine texture , the mc12 with a huge splitter and the X class with black walls and ps2 era engine textures. This is the game everyone thought it deserved the goty last year , the game that keeps recycling cars from fh4 , gives us 1 car copy pasted in an entire series , makes little effort to give interesting content. But hey at least we can play it with gamepass 🙃 I wouldn't be surprised if forza motorsport does the same since both pgg and turn 10 are lazy af and enjoy copy-paste a lot ( proof of that is them is their fm video talking about their "revolutionary dmg system" and is just the same dame thing )
As much as I want that we won’t ever get it. Playground games focuses way to much on top of the line models. Even though 90% of their player base wants the lower trim level cars.
No paddle shift animations, paddle shift hand animations for cars with stick shift, convertible cars that don't have convertible function enabled, caliper paint that doesn't apply properly, gaps on the door seals for the majority of the car models, rain that remains static on the car while moving at speed, A.I that ignores checkpoints and doesn't obey the same rules as the player. There's more, a lot more. They have no interest in providing accurate car models or improving the game. They'd rather waste their time with garbage DLC aimed at kids to make a quick buck than fix the huge amount of issues the game has.
i don’t think they are paying attention to detail as closely as people wish because they are focusing on fm8 also, the sound on any car can be better while using the clutch option

you should make a video on the vr6 (mk3, r32..) sounds in the game idk if it's the wrong file or what but it's been 9 months and nobody has shined light on the issue and it's sad for an engine this good sounding and easily accessible.

Hennessey Venom F5 also needs a sound update. Listen to irl videos of it and compare to FH5. Irl it has a crossplane v8 (very rumble) and FH5 it sounds like a flatplane v8 just like a mclaren.
The lack of cage, shift lights & alcantara steering wheel is ridiculous - why bother putting it in the game if they can’t be bothered to do it properly?
Tbh, 4 sounds worse, SO synthetic sounding. FH5 has the right engine tone, just muffled and flat sounding, which is the last thing you want in a racing game
I keep saying all they give a shit about nowadays is kids and money lmao. They seem to have forgotten about the true car community who made the horizon franchise a huge hit in the first place. All they do is add more recycled cars than new ones and event lab features instead of more customization and when they do add new cars, most of em are trash like the 10 totally unnecessary extreme shit boxes when it couldve been 10 new cars that people actually wanted but instead they put all the good cars in the hotwheels dlc so that more people would buy it🤦♂️
I dont get how everyone loves the sounds in fh5. 99% of the car sounds are just wrong and sound even worse than in fh4. Especially shifting. It cant be that hard to create proper sounds in 2022
they do sound less robotic which is a plus, but instead they sound like fart cans most of the time and/or aren't pitched properly, which is 30 steps forward and 26 steps back
I mostly looked forward for the new M4 and the Xpeng. I don't care about this car. And forza horizon 5 HAS to be better. It's the newest damn game. Throw away Fh1 and enjoy this new stuff we have. It doesn't mean that it has to be like in Fh1 cause it was the worst game of all fh. Fh5 is king. I know some details are missing but we get this car for free after few challenges and they might still update it. Nothing wrong😂

Here’s the thing about FH5. They got the M3 GTR sound CORRECT with its flat plane crank v8. Best that car has ever sounded. However… they used the SAME SOUND for all other bmw v8’s and ruined them. E92, m5 e39, hell even the new m5 they all sound like garbage. So sad.
