The mistake is AWD. Unlike FH4 RWD is competitive. Driving the Ferrari RWD has much better speed and handling than AWD.

There’s some things you can do to stretch out your PI and fit more upgrades. Some cars with oil and cooling upgrades, if you scroll through it can actually lower your PI. A heavier set of rims depending on how heavy can lower the PI of the car without adding considerable weight. Increasing rear rim size does too. For many all wheel drive cars upgrading the front tires increases the PI drastically but increasing the rear tire width may not increase it at all. For some it lowers it. Instead of a front splitter in a lower class car, I’d try to go for front tire width. Cars at lower classes don’t usually greatly benefit from the downforce unless it’s an older car due to the bog it can put on horsepower. If you can fit a bit of both it would be probably more beneficial than just one or the other, just make sure to adjust the downforce accordingly and in a balanced way. The rear wing was a good call but if you feel like there is a delay in the steering or it’s just not wanting to turn in the rear, you could lower the downforce on it because they don’t normally need that much in lower or even most classes. I normally lower downforce in most classes. If you still feel it under steering in the rear you can put a bit of toe out in the rear to increase the turn in response of the tires in the rear if it feels stable enough. Putting more bias of the power towards the rear. Normally around 70-75% for rally on long wheelbase cars and depending on the car 70% for more short wheelbase cars. For on road with a short wheelbase normally I do around 75% to the rear and for long wheel base cars between 73%-80%, in rare cases up to 85% in the rear. A gearbox with more gears adds weight and may lower your pi some and the extra gears can help you accelerate faster at lower horsepower, as well as have more optimized gears for different kinds of cornering, making your car handle better than with the lighter transmission. It can reduce understeer if the gears are spaced out in the right way. Too low of an RPM and they can understeer, too high and it can do the same. Differentials hardly ever increase PI on any car Anti roll bars don’t normally increase PI and if they do it’s normally by one point. The rally diff is actually better optimized for racing than the race diff. I would just lower the acceleration in the rear a bit and bring the front deceleration down a bit. Love your videos, Nick! I was out of the Forza loop for a bit due to life circumstances but I’ve came back and been watching all of your videos. Been watching you since FH2!

Love the small but vocal community upset about the lack of ranked racing in a game with zero balance on the cars. Ranked A class would likely be all boneshakers. At least now the rank doesn't matter so you can take what you want and just enjoy it, the race payout is the same and the battle for 5th place can be much better than the battle for 1st often times.
