Forza Horizon 5 : The Time Attack EVO Sucks... (FH5 Sierra Sierra EVO)

I hate how people who play games like fh5 where every car can have like 1800hp who because of that think like 500hp is "nothing" or "not enough"

I feel that this car shines better for the shorter and more cornering tracks

I was expecting the Time Attack EVO was actually good but it turns out it’s not really good at all because lacks of horsepower

It's weird how I have the most polar opposite feeling towards this car. I freaking love it. It's my favorite car in all Forza games combined. Evo and RX-7 are my favorite cars and it's like my birthday

Now it may not have a lot of upgrades to make a 1000hp but it's still a perfect car to turn into a Fast and furious Tokyo Drift car

All the last cars released by forza:95%"dissapointing"5%"super ultra gega meta" This is one of the reasons most of forzas audience stopped playing (including me)

By this logic, every car in S2 that isn't a Brabham, BttB, Sesto Elemento FE, or Viper AE sucks because none of them can realistically compete with them. The Evo doesn't suck. It's fun to drive and is showing love to a car that wouldn't otherwise get much attention. Just because you can't sweat with it online doesn't mean it sucks. Doesn't help that most tracks in FH5 suck because they're just straight lines for the most part with a couple of slight turns.

it’s a nice car to just cruise around in driving around tight roads and making lap times n such to just mess around and looks cool

Only Forza streamers would complain about 900+ hp and say it "sucks" when doing something it wasn't built to do

If only you could give it more horsepower or make it lighter, then it would be awesome... but 950 hp with that weight, despite sounding insane IRL, it's not enough for S2 class in the game.

This Evo may be nuts, but time attack has cars that are even more ridiculous. The first car that immediately comes to mind is if anyone even remembers/played NFS Shift 2 Unleashed will probably know about that bonkers Scion tC.

Tried it in Rivals and it was a Beast!! I'm excited to unlock it despite the missing upgrades..

That's such a shame that you can't get it into S1, and it goes nowhere near top of S2?? Is there even another car in the game that doesn't hit the top of a single class!?

You speak of the EVOs being nerfed, which I do agree on, but in general a lot of the 4 cylinder engines are nerfed in the game. The one that bothers me the most is the Honda K20 (2.0L I4 VVT in the game), which maxes out at 719hp. In real life a fully built stroked turbo K20 can easily make 900-1000hp.

finally, a car that is just cool that doesn't need to be the best at anything. Best new car in years.

This car is exactly what I call "driven/built by some famous people but with so few customizations", in which way so many cool cars are almost useless.

As a time attack car, it would likely work better on technical circuits with lots of corners and less straightaways. However, it might not be enough to overtake the meta S2 cars on the leaderboard.

This is also one of the VERY few cars that are in the middle-ish of S2 Class and can’t reach 998. such a bummer :-(

Not every car has to be competitive, at the end of the day fh5 at its base in a single player game

Honestly I don't ever give a shit about new cars will be good at online racing or not,as long as they're cool & interesting cars or have good customization options that will be a good car for me. Not every car have to be good or op at online racing. Having cool cars to cruising around are a good thing as well

it may not have a lot of power which 950 is a lot, if it had above 1000 it may not have had the crazy handling it could maybe be good but most cars when put insane amounts of hp they started getting understeer. my opinion

When I did the time trial for the Seirra Seirra, I immediately noticed the horrendous amount of understeer but it starts to grip eventually. I was really hoping for engine swaps. Especially something like the 1.6L Rally Engine to detune the car to S1 Class. But even then, I was hoping you could be able to upgrade it to the top of S2 class. No real engine upgrades besides the anti lag and there's no weight reduction either. Even the new set of purpose built race cares have a weight reduction option. The current Evo time attack car weighs around 2,700 pounds. The Evo time attack CT230R from Motorsport 2,3 and 4 weighed around 2300 pounds. Granted it's a different chassis, it doesn't mean it's unrealistic for their to be a weight reduction option. Besides all that, the car itself is a little nerfed. Sure maybe it won't be as realistic to the real car if it was faster in game but so many of cars handling and speed are unrealistic in the game anyways.

I can imagine any Forza fan buying a 1,000 horsepower Evo in real life and thinking “wow, just imagine how fast this will be when I put a big turbo on it!”

I'll be honest, i kinda saw it coming when the update dropped. Having a TA car like this one doesn't make it any less interesting, but given the balance of the game when it comes to car classes, it indeed feels like an outcast That won't stop me from getting it, and driving the hell out of it 😂

i was really hoping for more customizzation, that this would be the one good evo but meh, probably gonna skip it heres to hoping the elantra is good, ill get it anyways since you cant drive the stock one in the game

It's meant to be grippy and fast through the corners on smaller, tighter tracks. You took it on a big circuit with long straights, then off-roading, and then drifting (in AWD for some reason; it "only" has 950 HP, you knew that it would still be too "slow"/grippy for drifting in AWD, but did it anyway; put RWD on it and drift it again). Take it on the Volcano Sprint or a tight custom track and then rate it. Lol.

It's definitely disappointing. 950HP is no joke, especially for an Evo. But with Forza Horizon being Forza Horizon. TA cars and certain other cars need to be power scaled up to get the true and real sens of how insane this car is in real life.

This is a fully built extreme race car why are we shocked it’s not got many upgrades. Not every car needs to be X class

The only thing I would’ve wanted from this car is maybe like turbo and intercooler and maybe engine black like what the higher horsepower cars have where you can only put like three upgrades but they give you decent horsepower and I’m not saying make it like those cars were the engine upgrades to give you another 800 hp. I’d be happy if this car was like 13 1400.

It's an awesome car, but for it being in the middle of S2 stock, it's not enough, given that there's a bunch of cars that already run laps around it in MP

Tuned right it makes a pretty good drift car, it’s just about the only thing you can do with it.

I really like this car. Design is cool, cool sounds, sexy under the hood. I just don’t race with it, I’ll drive it around tho

i find it perfect for street races, no need for more hp, just this car isnt for everyone and everything, not every car needs to be perfect for every possible scenario and race

I think at the least they should've added in engine swaps like the Racing 7.2L V8 to help max it out in S2 class, that way both the purists and those who want to unleashed its potential in the game are happy with it. But at the end of the day, it's supposed to be enjoyed as it is.

The fact it doesn't have any power upgrades is weird. 950 while mega for when this car was built is now kinda slow. The Tilton Evo IX, an Australian built time attack Evo is making 1200 hp on a 2,2l 4G63. The current king of WTAC, the Porsche RP968 is making close to 1500 hp in race trim and the engine in it is apparently capable for 2000+ HP and both of those cars have even more downforce than this Evo. It's a cool car but just wish more could be done to as from what it seems, 1200+ is more than doable on that engine in real life so why can't we also do it in the game?

So I got this car today okay I sadly disappointed with the upgrading part of it but until I took it for a drive so I upgrade the drive train and suspension on it and it didn't make a huge difference. But.... I think what we can take from it is that it's an awesome sounding car it's launch control with out the anti lag upgrade personally sounds insane I think that the forza development team should take this cars "anti lag"sound as inspiration and add it to the game.

why cant people just appreciate this car for what it is? it looks amazing, sounds amazing, and drives amazing bone stock. not every car has to top the leaderboards

The car is actually a beast, sure if you want to do everything like drifting, speed zones, off-road etc, then prob not, but if you say only do road racing and street racing, then it's a beast for sure. Yes, the car is a beast at specific things, but not a beast at everything.

i think the issue is that they made it middle s2, if it was either top s2 or top s1 itd be way better

At first i thought you were exaggerating, but the lack of horsepower/swaps (less or more hp than stock), make it not fall well into any class which is a killer for its allure. Super cool car regardless and drives amazing, but its cant REALLY be used for anything competitively, unlees special restrictions were put on a competition.
