Forza Motorsport 7 | Drifting: The Basics, Learning on a Low HP Car 

Ya I know this is 10 months late but I think drifting in fh4 takes no skill coming from someone who started and got into drifting in fm4 and I've played every game since horizon was never that hard or realistic

Drift with wheel is unreal.. Well.. With the g29.. In assetto is all good, but in fm7? Its pain.. You just cant feel the right time to flip the wheel back.

Also disappointed they missed the stocks on the wheel. They needed custom animations for different types of cars rather than paddle shifting in all cars. I bet the old muscle cars have the gear level on the right move like a paddle shifter, and that would be hella embarrassing :/

Sean Hartford Well, there are Toyotas in the game, but none of them are production vehicles. They're all race cars, and I believe there's only like 4 of them.

romeel khan idk but in Forza horizon 3 you can press A or LB. You can choose the one you prefer. I prefer pressing A. By now you probably already know this

I like how you said FRS/BRZ/GT86 as they are all almost the same. Now, for a spiel on how they are basically the same, with the minute differences included. The BRZ has a softer spring rate than the GT86/FRS so it doesn't like to drift as easily along with like one other thing I don't remember. The GT86 and FRS are exactly the same apart from badging, I think a few engine aesthetics and some small interior details. And I think the GT86 is right hand drive apart from the LHD one.

I was the same in horizon 3, but in motorsport7 im better with rwd now

just make sure your braking assist and steering assist are turned off. as well as stability and traction control. normal steering helps too but simulation is what is easier to use once you get the hang of normal

All out hp isn't good, it's nice, but learning the basics is more important. Can't always rely on power to transition

Sean Hartford I want to learn drifting at some point, so the first drift car I want to get is a Volvo 340, the one with the 1.7L Renault F-series engine. It's more common and cheaper than an 86, and it has even less power, so pedal control and maintaining speed is a must. Perfect beginner's car :)
