Try not to go into 2nd gear unless you absolutely have to. Coming out of corners loses you valuable time shifting back up from 2nd to 3rd. Believe me, I used to do this in previous titles using downshifting to help the car brake and I could never understand how cars would still pull out from underneath me. Instead of downshifting, stay in 3rd and carry as much speed through the corner. You could be carrying 100mph in 3rd gear, but 2nd gear limits you to go maximum 90mph through the corner.

Hunting season lol. Been there. I’m a fan of the PIT maneuver or just guiding him into a wall even if I hit the wall myself. You gotta plant the seeds and hope they grow into a good driver. Nothing better than tight, clean racing regardless of what position you’re going for.
Not how I would have went about it but I certainly understand the frustration. When someone is driving that way I just try to beat them with kindness and drive as clean as possible. It's not always that easy though. 😂😂
At the 12:50 mark you're blocking. You go right to left then right to left again. My guess is that's what made him take you out. BTW the penalty on that game should be accessed during the race and not at the end. It would put a stop to this kinda garbage. I just found your channel and I'm enjoying it.
Blocking? No, can’t agree with you on that. The line was open I just broke too early and couldn’t cut back in in time so I got out of the way so he could take the inside. But I do agree that the penalty system should be implemented inside the race like Gran Turismo.
13:00 i agree with the penalties but he had over 6 seconds in penalties. When you create races you can select a disqualification penalty for anyone who accrues more than 6 seconds and penalties. If they just put this on by default all of this would be solved considering his penalty time was pushing 8 seconds.
I think getting disqualified over it isn't worth it, but let's say you can force them into the pit with a little rubbing door to door that would be great.

He hit the kerb which put him across your nose? He then hits the wall which then again puts him back into your path. I do not play this game so can not comment on how the physics work but again does not look like a delibrate take out Just clumsy
i do that all the time hahaha hey one tip make sure you max out your gears for the longest stretch... for example on that stretch youre doing 170mph in 6th so adjust the final gear so you max out at 175 to 178mpg just so you have extra space encase you draft behind someone... always observe the maximum speed you trap on straights on practise runs! stay toxic! :D
Good video. Just need to get more strategic with how u wreck him. Looked too emotional when instead a good bump to the inside rear around a corner does nicely.
How'd that race affect your Safety rating? I had a race like this recently, a lot of bumping and banging. Not necessarily intentional, just a couple racers lacking an awareness of their surroundings and insisting on holding the line regardless of someone being beside them. My rating dropped from S to B. One race.
I have learned to be as calm as I can there are many guys out there who could not pass someone without moving them and I just let them do it because some times I win them every time almost because of there time penalty.
@@TheGreyBeardGamerthe inability to change fuel/tire on the grid was happening on Xbox too. Consistently a month or two back. Then it came back last week but only a few times.
On the other forza games i was always seeking revenge on the rammers and it was super satisfying but on this game j dont want to loose my S class safety rating ( not that it means much by the looks of some of the races) lol. I usually fight the urge to do this. If i get past em and do better than them in the end that is revenge enough for me nowadays
it's a little hard to tell for sure due to hood cam. He accidently turns to hard causing his back wheels to swipe you and spin himself out. That's totally on him. The way he hits the wall and bounces off you is pretty much unavoidable and honestly prob helped prevent the incident from completely taking him out of the race. It seems like he does excessively bump into you after words and push you off the track. But since you can't actually see exactly what's happening it's hard to tell it it was for sure intentional or not. Giving him the benefit of the doubt what could of happened was he nearly spun out hit the wall then bounced into you. Then when off screen he started to lose control of the car and failed to catch it causing him to further smash into you. I main the acura so I know it can be come pretty unstable and spin out easy if you take jostle the momentum back and forth too quickly. Usually I can manage to catch it before anything catastrophic happens when dealing with basic turns and minor bumps. However when it comes to larger collisions it can sometimes be a beast to get back under control. Still if this was the case i feel like he most likely would of just bounce off you one more time when off screen instead of the 3 he did. So a bit higher chance that he was trying to race dirty.
I completely see how you could see that, but at the same time, if you race with the fanatic wheel, you can feel the force of another car intentionally hitting you. He never let up when he ran me into the right wall. What do you think about the punt and his last second decision to go into the pit, Regardless of who we hit?
@@TheGreyBeardGamer yeah rip the guy he took out going into the pits. If he wanted to get to the pits he should of at a minimum slammed on the breaks to at least avoid taking out others. Or just deal with the mistake and go a lap extra.
I would have done the same to that crayon chewer! I had GREAT racing pre-release , however 1 month after it was nothing but rammers. I dropped from my S rating down to B worked my way back up to S/4000+ rating and would like to keep it. The few times a get a great lobby is absolute fun however most lobbies are full of that Tacit guy. Could have given homie the old pit dash where you slow down just enough when he attempts to side swipe you by slowing down and clipping the rear corner fender. #2 you don't need to down shift to 2nd when you got assists man, you could hang some of those in 3rd and not lose time shifting and you could gain speed. Three don't be so aggressive late braking, set your dead zones lower cause I've got all mine at 0-98% and 4 you could have saved the race if you had hard charged the end after the spin out, homie clearly had weaker acceleration cause his powerband was smaller so he was having trouble putting down the torque after upshifting or letting off if he was below 5800, youd have at least gotten 8th
I can't get these people man wth ! You got him good and also made him finish last as obviously he wants to gain positions even if it means crashing into others ... also the penalty system is not punishing enough .
…and in the end he drew you right down into his cesspool. Turn10 coddles these dim wits, and welcomes them to their ecosphere and you just screwed your own race and got very little in return. Believe me, we Forza players have all been through this before. there are players out there who are undeniable experts at wrecking, ramming and trolling people. Their sole reason for existence is exactly what we saw in this video. Turn10 knows it, allows it and nurtures it. They profit from people harassing each other. It’s a twisted profit model. I think Forza makes stuff like this possible because it’s so easy to drive these cars. The arcade-ish nature of the driving physics invites driving like a battering ram - and Turn10 simply doesn’t care. They are riding their cash cow right into the Cave of Obscurity - all on your dime.
What was that? I like to see dirty drivers get punished and that’s why I tapped on the video. But man… He was certainly a poor (and maybe new) driver, not dirty and you really started to act as an *ss towards him. Bad judgment on your behalf there. You didn’t think that he thought you tapped him when he lost the rear at the curve and that’s the reason he tried to push you off the track right after?
Yeah honestly I thought about that after I made another video where I apologize to him in the end. Might have happened. But I didn’t tap him from the back. Might have been the net code. He did punt me, run the other driver off track at the pits, and he did come over and keep ramming me to the wall. If you are a sim racer then you know what I mean when I say it’s intentional. But I was beneath me
i have an s safety rating and take pride in it. idk how but i get a bunch of these dirty drivers in my lobbies and i promise i do the same only to get revenge never am i doing it first
You also have on medium tires so im not sure why they are wearing so fast. If you dont use abs you have to feather your breaking and pump them on long stops or it wears the tire down faster on each lap. If you had soft compound on you would have been fucked but then when youre on the final 4 laps you elected to have mediums put on again in the pit??? Lol wut
+ forza motersport dont let you do clase racing btw if you tap someone and want to get back with car next to you you cant trun at all car wont let you so its more of a game issue then his
That was on you, you panicked, you braked early, he tapped your back end. Everything else that happened was purely because of your own saltiness. You are part of the problem with forza, certainly, he was not a good driver, you then took it upon yourself to chace him down rather than continue the race. Thus, in future, he will now start and ram on purpose. Kudos mate 👏
I think it’s obvious that you didn’t watch the video on his entirety and that’s fine but regardless of that if I had to do it again, I would do it differently. Trust me I’m not the problem with Forza I’m a clean racer and he was definitely not. Please watch the video and its entirety before judging. Better yet try not to judge anyone by watching one video partially
@TheGreyBeardGamer I watched the lot, you made it your purpose. That first tap was pure accidental and you instantly took it as aggression. You can tell the rammers from bad drivers, he was a bad driver and your actions instigate further action. I dont doubt that you are, infact, a clean racer, but on this occasion, you let out and became that we aim to remove. 1 statement you made in which I wholly agree with, the penalty system is broken. It needs fixing and a proper ban system needs to be used to full effect. Keep it clean my dude 👍
Two things: Consider that Tacit could be a ten year old playing for a few minutes before he has to do his homework. Secondly, consider why it could be that this video has more than 8K views but you have less than 600 subscribers. There is are two sayings "Race your race..." and "Get your priorities in order"

You are lucky to have races like this.I stopped qualifying just to start at the back and bypass the rammers,who get taken out by their own arsehole driving.Arriving at the first corner anywhere in the front of the pack,is asking to be taken out by little 7 year old Johnny hijacking his dads PC.Very frustrating,they need to fix their matchmaking.
At 12:33 contact is incidental, no intention, prob simply a braking difference. At 13:05 I can see no reason to think Rexi was doing anything but driving his racing line, he is in front of you and therefore it is on you to avoid him, you can clearly see him. You contact Rexi for not giving space. Rexi over reacts and violates the Rules of Conduct. You "Hunt him down" and then intentionally violate the Rules of Conduct not once, but twice! Then you post yourself in a video that could be grounds for a suspension or ban. Clip, post, report. That is the thing to do.

Bro why bother eh Forza has a penalty system where drive like a c..t enough you lose your license but also its what happens when you pit players with differing levels of skill and different set ups me i always set cars up for really really late braking now if im behind someone i have to be mindful that their gona brake 5to10 metres earlier than me just cause players crash into you does NOT always mean they are dirty rise above it my friend rise above it jus dm em and vent not take revenge i gave a like but not because i agree with what you did n i add your like a mobile chicane thru the corners you prob wound him up obviously
