10:32 I believe that is pretty accurate to real life. With cars like the Jesko, a Bugatti Chiron, the Hennessey Venom F5 you quite literally see the fuel gauge go down when you're flat out. So being out of fuel in 5 minutes(maybe even less) is pretty accurate when say driving flat out on the autobahn.

Being lightweight will help you positively on your fuel efficiency, just take a heavy car with big hp number like the veyron or maybe an american muscle

I have a feeling that they do a good amount of calculations for fuel usage (weight,Horsepower,throttle) i think your jesko did worse cause it weighted less and you couldn't stay full throttle as much as wolfs

I played for the first time yesterday And I picked the mustang as my first car I’m so used to horizon as I haven’t played Motorsport since like 3 months after FM7 came out My first turn I binned it right into a wall at 90 mph

Bugatti Chiron 300 in real life empties its tank in under 10 minutes from full

Wait, so EVs don't get slower both in top speed and peak acceleration as battery voltage falls? If so, that's unrealistic, we all know the more powerful the motors are the more the power output falls as the battery drains because there's less of a gap between peak battery discharge and peak motor demand. Its a tradeoff, EVs have the instant torque and no shifting delays and regen braking at the cost of always being heavier and losing power output the longer it drives, and egregious recharge times, while ICEs have shift delays and a variable torque curve with a low bottom end usually and sometimes turbo lag while also having a far longer range and getting lighter by a small but notable amount as you drive, and refueling in literal seconds. If that isn't implemented then it can't be called realistic, though in the EV's case for recharge they could just lengthen it a bit to simulate swapping the race-spec plug-and-play battery pack with a fresh one and zooming back out for more. Edit: Range at speed is also a concern, EVs don't have any raising efficiency that helps ICEs at speed when the motor is bogged down more, sure you're fighting aero and rolling drag more in both but electric motors don't gain thermal efficiency up to a small total increase at higher loads, they actually drop a bit iirc, while ICEs can gain a few percent or more over their average as the engine load increases and revs drop in cruise, for race cars the rev drop isn't really there since their top gear is top speed near redline so the efficiency gain is minimal but still present, it'd have more effect in road cars, and thus should be included as a tiny, insignificant back-end game mechanic that you'd notice if you pay attention when racing.
