Maybe it's been answered already and I haven't found it, but very basically: What's the purpose of running theZA3 as monoblocks if the output power rating only goes up 10% or 20%? Shouldn't the power output almost double in bridge mode? In other words: What's the advantage of buying two and running them in mono mode when the power output is essentially the same? Is this really only meant for people with 2 ohm speakers?
In mono mode, when changing op amps you only need to change one. Correct? The right one? Looking at the amp from the front , the right op amp you see is the one to change? Do you need to leave the left op amp in or can you remove it?
The sub out is 20-300? Why 300? That requires most people to then addtionally use the crossover built into the sub. Not a good idea I've heard. Most common is 80. It would be nice to have multiple setting say 50,80,and 120.
Every comment I've read about taking the amp apart from different sources say that removing the knob is a pain. What is the best way to do this? What tool to use?
Good morning guys, I will be using 2x ZA3 units in mono and will be using a balanced DAP. Do I need a TRRS balanced 3.5mm plug when using duel XLR plugs? Thank you so much
