i've genuinely been looking for a video like this for ages, thank you so much for making this when you did !!! i have a heart-shaped stone pendant with ammonites in it and ive been trying to brainstorm ideas for it as a talisman so this helps a lot !!

😮......YOU ARE MY HERO!! I'm a wand maker and on the Northside of Fort Worth Texas, if you know where to look, proper ammonite fossils are everywhere. All of my "Horseapple" wood wands come with ammonite or fossilised oyster mounted. The Horseapple tree is a reminant of the iceage and depended on the mastodon and wooly mammoth for distribution. A Horseappple wand connects you with prehistoric energy of the old ones so I mount horseapple wood wands with local fossils. YOU ROCK I must say😊

On the thunderbolt, I've heard the same about prehistoric stone axe heads.

I think you are the first magical practitioner on youtube that I've come across who has made a video about this topic!🙂 Thank you!💚

How did I miss this one? The fairy loaf is amazing! What an exciting find. We have loads of belemnites (my partner has collected) and also an ammonite that my great uncle unearthed while plowing a field in Germany around 1920. It's remarkable to have that fossil and also have it passed down in the family. Thank you for covering this unique topic, Ari. Much love!

Lovely to watch, thank you. I'm Norfolk born n bred and fossils have literally been the bedrock of my connection to the land, along with chalk streams, wide skies, pockets of wild woods and heathlands. Was it Mundesley you said you visited? Hope it wasn't too busy. (If you want to sound local, it's pronounced 'muns-lee', we have a habit of missing out bits of words!)

Mate, If you have a P.O. box, I'm about to start a group of Horseapple wands....the price for you...is.....Free, from one Witch to another because you are doing TONS to forward and educate our craft. And all my wands are pedigreed with date and time gathered, the type of wood and best magical energy each wood brings you. Thanks for all you do duck, cheers Manny

Thank you so much for the lovely words! I don't have a P.O. Box at the moment, I've thought about getting one but right now I don't quite have the funds for it. But thank you for the offer that's very kind of you!! 😊

snakes were very revered here.. especially the vipers which they called "sacred beasts" :) it´s because it was one of the personifications of Earth mother (or the many different spirits related to earth, grandmothers they also called them). also the water snake was the personification of the Mother of Heavenly water, also known as rain :) it seems to me that they targeted especially the mother goddesses (possibly not ok with female gender). children literally had protective jewellery in the shape of snakes (hanging from their braids, doesn´t sound evil to me). basically anytime a devil or saint is mentioned i think you should presume the opposite meaning (because that´s what they did).

why they went for the opposites is because they are priests! priests are INFAMOUS for having no imagination, which is why a lot of them can´t create.. and when you can´t create you can only distort or combine old.. that´s why i´m against syncretism, it´s anti-creation :) (rewriters i call them, when in a good mood)

also i´m pretty sure that priests weren´t meant to exist in a situation where their job is to destroy the old religion instead of continue their own traditions. all in all a bad situation, a good lesson of how NOT to do things :)
