I talked with him on my street a while back. He was making the contractors paint over the PGE street painting at end of project. I SO appreciate that.

Thanks for making and sharing such a great project! The video is great! Actually, I had a great pleasure talking to Ken some time ago when I had noise concern and he was very nice and professional, he helped me a lot with it and I can't say how much happier I am now. Thank you Ken and City of Foster City!

Hmmm. Could I do something like this while having a Business Entrepreneurship and small business management background? A position is open in my town and it seems rather interesting. Like right down my alley😂

Can't get a real job, eh? What, no one at McDonald's or anything janitorial is hiring? Because those are legitimate jobs by comparison.

@@yepisaidit8229The only people who hate code enforcers are trashy people. Usually people who are renting out rooms to entire families for cash, people running puppy mills, people using their front lawn as a car parts junk yard, etc. So you must be trashy... Yep I said it.

This is the definition of "Brown Shirts" Why is it so important that one group of people have a need to control other people?

So. Much. This. I just can't figure out what kind of a-hole it takes to want to drive around and tell people what they can and can't do with their own property, particularly when whatever the complaint is has absolutely nothing to do with public safety.

Code Enforcement may not be very popular, but it is certainly a legitimate duty. Maybe if your city has codes that are ridiculously overreaching, you might have a point, but in a general sense, most code issues are related to legitimate safety and health concerns. Keeping mosquitoes and pests under control, or keeping a City looking presentable, it’s no different than having your parents teach you how to keep your house in order. This is just the same thing on a bigger scale. Also, if some of the codes seem overreaching or over bearing, try visiting your city Council and for running for council and making things change “for the better“, whatever that means in your opinion.

I will say that whoever made this video probably have the best intentions, but the code enforcer comes across as a pedantic officious busybody just a little bit. And to the original commenters point, some places act like they are an HOA instead of a municipal government. There is a nice balance to strike between keeping public health and safety, then becoming incredibly overbearing and putting your nose into peoples business far in excess of what is constitutionally permitted.

Your job should be eliminated there is no reason to be able to tell people what they can or can't do on their own property, get a real job.

It's all about contracts find out what contract you have with these people and close the contract. If you're using your social security number for benefits and privileges they might be hard to accomplish
