Max made her feel safe. Having another dog there is HUGE for a scared dog. They see that the other dog is confident and not being harmed by people.

Anyone who could deliberately traumatize a loving dog to this horrific extent makes me more furious than words can express. Thank you, all of you, for being the angels that this lil punkin needed.

I can't imagine the terrible things she must have gone thru to put her this way. Now its time for a good life

Iris just needed time to come out of her shell. Now she's teaching other dogs how it's done. So precious. I'm glad she's in a loving home and she deserves the best spoiled life! 😂❤

I find it ALMOST impossible to believe that someone would treat a dog so badly that they were afraid to come inside a house. I'm so happy that Iris has found people that are loving and good to her.

I’m old and I love to see all of these younger people take care of and love abused and abandoned dogs and cats. It warms my heart to see families like this one who have the patience and love for these pets. I can’t thank them enough for giving dogs like Iris a chance. Pitties are the most amazing dogs on the planet. I lost mine two years ago and the hurt is still real. Never had a dog so affectionate and loyal and intelligent before and feel like I'll never experience it again. Love to our Max.

I’ve watched this video probably 20-30 times. And I am dead serious about that. But anyways. I think that you guys are the absolutely best people for not giving up on her. Most people would have brought her back to the shelter like returning a faulty item. But you guys didn’t. You knew she needed time and you let her progress at her pace. To see how happy she turned out is just awesome. I wish there were more people like you guys in the world. Cause there are so many dogs especially pit bulls and pit bull type breeds. They’re misunderstood to begin with and then when a dog has trauma on top of it, most people act like if the dog isn’t perfect from the get go that it’s a waste of their time and bring the dog back. When all the dog needed was patients, understanding, and love. I could go on and on, especially having a pittie that came from a terrible situation her first year and a half of life. Keep up the awesome dog parenting
