During the hoarder clean out, I found a locked travel case in the trailer... what's inside?? Join me for Part 6 of this clean out. Follow me on Instagram @paperandmoose #cleanout #hoarderhouse #vintage
My wife and I have been watching your hoarder house clean out videos and we've been doing a little decluttering around our place because of the videos. Sometimes when you think you don't have a lot something like looking at the life of a hoarder makes you rethink what's important to save or keep and what should be given away or tossed.
What's inside of the locked case? Just a few of her favourite things! It is fascinating to consider what the link between those items could possibly have been?? You have a strong work ethic, Renée. All the best.😊
Hi Renee, I love all horses and other collectables in the travel case. I used to save all my allowance money to buy them in the late 1960's. They sure brought back a lot of old memories and put a smile on my face. thanks for another great video.
That shed was an old storage for cases of beer. Back in the day they didn't have room inside so they added these sheds because they were cheaper than added a room. I lived in a very small town and almost every bar had them in the back of bar. Stay safe and healthy 🙏❤🙏
I said this before..I would look at the newspapers dates the items are wrapped in! To just give an idea how long those items have been wrapped up and stored there? Just gives a bit of history! Js..
If the horses have a Hagen Renaker sticker on them they are probably vintage. That goes for the other animals as well. Beswick is another company that made horses and other ceramic animals. Interesting you and Taco both found horses recently.
RENEE that train case holds the key to my heart. All those darling little horses and other animals. even the broken ones. I would have felt i hit the jackpot if i found them. so hard to find anymore.
My grandmother had that spinning Jenny. It was from about the 1960’s. I rescued it from her home in the 1980s when she passed and just passed it on to one of my nieces. I always liked it but we are downsizing!
Enjoyed this video- the most interesting collection. That old computer could be valuable. Actually I think all “that stuff” would sell. Especially enjoyed the COMMENTS today. Very entertaining 😃😃😃😃😃
I love the horses. I have been collecting old and odd horses for years. I’m really glad you’ll are doing that clean out this time of the year and not more into summer. There could have been snakes 🐍 like crazy in all of the overgrown property. I meant to ask in your first video of these, did you keep the little wicker loveseat that you found? It would be perfect for your little Pam. Stay safe and God Bless
Hello Renee. Honey you look beautiful but tired. Poor lady. But your doing a great job. Horses in a case why was I not surprised. And was I the only one that didn’t think that there wasn’t anything bad in the yellow box. It was funny because I usually do go there 😝. Stay safe and well enjoy your week.☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖🥰🥰🥰😻😻😻😻😻💯💯💯💯
The medal palomino horse is from the 60s I had one it had a manacure set with it. Would love to have the whole horse collection. Lots of neat things. Also would love the Amish butter dishes. Have been trying to find a set that is not faded due to being put in the dishwasher. Looks like dirty job but fun at the same time. That old computer monitor some are worth $ to collectors
Your storage container was an old truck box. (That's the reason for the state certification.) When it no longer passed inspection, it was removed from the truck and sold for storage.
Hi Renee. OMG, you found horses in the box. That is so awesome Renee. All the pieces that broke off can be glued back on the horses. So cool. God Bless you Renee, please be safe. Thank you for sharing. Maria. 🙅☕️🙅☕️❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Just imagine all this stuff neatly organized, put onto glass shelves and well lit in a clean, well ventilated set of rooms. This is how museums once upon a time started out. Also, maybe those broken off limbs and heads can be glued back on?
The blue shed is an old delivery truck box used for delivery of alcohol. Very nice horse collection. Some of the broken figurines may find a home with someone to use in making jewelry.
What a huge effort... The Serenity Prayer picture looked special, but it flew by so fast I didn’t get a good look at it. Lots of U Tube thrifter channels ARE appreciating the vintage planters...I look back now and surely wish I had kept some when my daughter was born 42 years ago!
Sadly critters can do a lot of damage and really not make it worth keeping stuff around unless one keeps a lot of poison around to kill them. This includes stuff in peoples houses. Thanks for sharing more adventures from this hoards place.
My mom used to have that same “train case” as she called it, there was a mirror in that diamond shaped elastic on the inside of the lid. She carried her make up, toiletries, and jewelry in it when she traveled because she could keep it with her thru out the trip.
I remember those IBM monitors from the 80's. They were on of the first PC's our word processing department used. Looks like a small portable TV. Just imagine if she was a "fellow" frog collector...I'd have to fly over to get the collection! One of my cousins had a huge horse collection when she was a youngster. Make peg legs for the animals with leg injuries! I've done this for a couple of too cute frogs to part with.
The actual spinning Jenny was invented just up the road from me at Oswaldtwistle. We had a lot of textile mills and cotton mills in the North of England.
The metal and ceramic horse's are really nice and collectable.. Love the little vintage bone china dogs and cats they're really collectable too.. Stay safe all..👍💕🔥⚾😷
Put the broken horse etc pieces up on ebay as a craft lot. If you do etsy, put them up there. All the broken pieces can be used! Legs, heads, animal.bodies.
We have two real horses, Spirit and Moses( Big Moe) A mule, Sammule and a cow, kimpy. We are waiting for it to cool off and then Kimpy will be turned into hamburger. We also have 4 dogs. 3 are kennel dogs but house dogs. One is half great Dane and half bull mastiff that's Dorie , Nova Jean is half great Dane and ?, Hydra is half great Dane and we think lab(Something big) and then we have Mia Bell a shih Tzu. Mia Bell is the oldest and the boss. 😂😂😂😂All of this because I saw those beautiful horses. I absolutely love the last one you unwrapped. He was amazing! ❤️😘💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✌️👶
The brown foal at 11:09 looked like it could be Beswick 997, if it is they sell for around $AU40-50. The metal horses look like the ones that you could win at carnivals in the 'old' days :)
I'm not sure what kind of trip requires a travel case full of miniature animals, a couple of belts, and a book titled "Love, Sex, and Astrology", but I hope they had a wonderful time and no one was arrested.
Always check online prices for really old, first few generations of technology. Some of it is really, really valuable. Techno-nerds like to collect that stuff and some items are rare. (Family full of techno-nerds 😊)
I still think that trailer is worth some money. If you check "Sisters on the Fly" you will see a score of vintage redone trailers. Some of the trailers were in rough shape prior to someone finding and gutting them.
When people ask me if I'm looking for anything in particular at a garage sale.....I say Picasso's....do you have any Picasso's for a dollar.....always gets a laugh!
_You bet_ someone would want the ca. mid-'80s vintage computer and monitor. This stuff is quite collectible these days. Vintage keyboards alone are fairly sought after. There's probably worse channels than LGR to sub to if you want to get a feel for this field.
Renee, did you bring a sleeping bag? Everytime I see a new video pop up, you are in the trailer! Lol!! You did so much work girl! I hope that your friend rewards you accordingly. You deserve some cash!!!!
IBM monitors like that will sell to retrotech guys and gals. Probably early 80's. If the IBM pc is also there, that will sell as well. Read reply below for the lidded glass bowl.
