The first day at a new cleanout and let's just say - Nothing was thrown out!! Follow me on Instagram @paperandmoose #vintageclothing #rocknroll #cleanout
For those complaining about the lighting: This is what working a REAL-LIFE cleanout looks like. Not staged for RU-vid, no light crew. The attic has NO electricity. Not one outlet, not one light switch. Nothing. Paths had to be made to get to the windows so we could eventually tear off the shades to let some light in. Running extension cords for lamps wasn't a great option, as the attic steps were already in bad condition to maneuver while carrying boxes/bags, let alone trying not to trip on a cord. Flashlights can also cause stripes/lines to be seen on the camera recording. My videos show the dirty, hard working aspect of cleanouts, dealing with whatever elements a home gives you.
Sometimes viewers just can’t take reality videos as real. Maybe if they don’t believe it’s real then they should quit watching not complain about it! Most of us really love your videos!
I understand..don't know what is worse a hot humid dusty attic or a moldy damp smelly basement! Without much natural light or otherwise. Cleaning out a hoard from years of just sitting in all that is hard work. Also, the smell and some weird smells or things you you see and can't explain until you do a clean out of a hoarder house! Been there done that! Renee, enjoy the fresh air and hot clean shower afterwards! Great job and keep on doing you! 😉
Sorry, some find things to complain about no matter what or how things are done. For this being shot in an attic with limited light I think you did a great job!
I am retired and I used to think it would be fun to work with an estate sale company and do clean outs to make a bit of extra money. However, cleaning and sorting my own stuff after a huge garage sale has changed my mind. I admire you for all your hard work.
I think the best part that makes it feel less like "work" is the digging and uncovering things. It starts to feel like work when you're lugging furniture & garbage bags down flights of stairs, packing the vehicle for the flea market or scrap yard, etc.
Hello Renee. Some people have No idea what it takes to clean out a house with this kind of lighting problems and the amount of things that are there. I appreciate how hard you are trying to bring use along and show us the reality of a clean out of this magnitude. I think even under great conditions this would still be hard to film and do your job. The T shirts are amazing finds. And the stuffed animals are so cute. Take care. Enjoy your weekend. 🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🫖☕️🫖☕️🥰🥰🥰💯💯💯💯💯
I love the video paper and moose .Samantha b if you don't like then just move on .We all love paper and moose video very much and have done for years now .Thank you so much for another cool video hugs from the UK X
I love how you say “Fun” a lot. WOW what a clean out. I’m looking forward to see your selections revealed as we go or at the end. Thank you for bringing us along. 🙀🥵🥰
No complaints about the lighting, my eyes are good enough to see what I want to see :-). Great job of you both, Tony and Renée, in three dark and dusty rooms, just go ahead and establish your own cleanout and fleamarket business T & R (or R & T, if you prefer that). A perfect team with a lot of good vibes and some pretty neat finds ! Greets from GER, U.
Hi Renee. what a day you are having with the clean out. I can not believe all those t-shirts in the Attic and all that stuff. Hope you have a Blessed day, and get some rest. Doing a clean out is dirty work. God Bless you and your friend. Stay safe my friend. Maria. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💜💜💜💜💜💙💙💙💙💙💙💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💗💗💗💗💗💝💝💝💝
OMG Renee talk about hit the jackpot looks like it goes on forever, all those hidden gems been lying there for years let’s hope amongst that lot there’s some hidden Alice in wonderland xx❤️🙏🏻🇬🇧
Thank you for taking us along on the hunt!!! Renee, came across an epic haul that you should see to believe !! The video is by Daydreaming to Create, on RU-vid . It is is the #Thrifty Thursday series Thought of you through the whole video and how much you two are alike in your search for paper and it's preservation!!! So great to see treasures being saved from the landfills!
What a great pick. Loved the crocheted Smurf’s. Yup it was a little dark but I enjoyed watching anyway. Like you said this is real life clean out. Nice of your friend to include you in his clean outs, there is a treasure trove of vintage clothes in that attic, hope you let us see what you kept for yourself.
Looks like a lot of stuff to go through. I am so glad I keep cleaning out and become minimal so my kids and grandkids don’t have to much to go through when I am gone.
I don't think I've seen you looking more tired ever. One can hear it in your voice! Taco finaly made it in one of your friend's cleanouts, yay! Hopefully there will be more videos from this home?
The Coyote is so cute! Always love the stuffed animals. I really enjoyed watching this but I look around my house and I’m beginning to see how things get that way. I recently I inherited my mother’s things. Old family stuff. My father’s WWII things. Antique dolls. So much. I am digging thru it. I gave all the iffy things away. Now it’s the better stuff. I have a lot of old things, old Christmas paper things. Lots of things the local thrift stores might throw away but someone else would love . Old graphics and things. I spent half of my life acquiring things and now the last half trying to find it all a home!
Hi Renee I enjoyed your video good luck that’s a lot of work but you’re finding some treasures have a wonderful evening love and God bless ♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏👍✌️
I'm an old dusty guy...when I do woodworking in my shop!! Be on the lookout for any big fr-gs...LOL! Smoky the Bear headgear! That ugly Smurf reminds me of the late Jimmie Durante...its nose! That horder looks like he or she had a mania for clothes! I thought at least Kermit (the Fr-g) would be hiding in that barrel of stuffed goodies. My late dad was quite a bowler in his young days. There were a number of establishments here in S.F. You resemble a coal miner...well you have something in common...you are digging for "treasure"! Went back to that warehouse sale yesterday...picked up 6 cute fr-g items, a mouse cookie jar, for my mouse-loving lady friend, and 4 very old Edison Blue Amberol cylinder records. I imagine all that old clothing must be dusty and musty. I recall a cleanout my friend and I did way back in the 1990's. We were both sneezing, ended up wearing masks...most of the stuff ended up in a dumpster!
It appears that after a piece of clothing had been been grown out of, up to the attic it went! The homeowner told us that they actually threw out a bunch of clothes there were downstairs... ugh!
If i could help you look through this attic I would! It looks very enticing! I wish you were here to pich through my upstairs! 🤣 Please stay safe and be careful! ❤❤
It's not too dark for me to see what you're doing I have as much fun as you do going through all those treasures except I can watch sitting down .I was wondering what happened to the other clean-out you did weeks ago and I was waiting for maybe another day but nothing became of it You get way more excited than Taco Stacks when you find stuff maybe just a guy thing
Just saw Taco's video. O. M. G. I don't even do clothes and ohm'gosh. He pulled TWO early 80s Disney shirts; I had one in the early 80s just like the ringer shirt he found. Your friend hit major gold as long as they're not dry-rotted like black shirts always seem to be.
I think it was a great video it's how a real clean out is and you make the best of the situation I saw everything just fine there are going to be alot of cool vintage clothing and other items still yet to come can't wait to see what is next and would love to see what you got to keep or sell you and Tony seem to get along great and work good together some nice vintage shirts thanks for sharing the video I think it was terrific 💯💯💯
Gr8 vintage clothing finds in this dirty dusty attic.. Love it... The dirtier the better..😝 That Tony guy finds vintage goodness and Rene finds tube socks smothered in underwear.. 😅😝 Take care guys..👍💕🔥⚾🤗🤙
Evening ! No problem with seeing what you guys are doing . No Pain No Gain as they say . Thanks for letting us see a Video to your picking . Have A Great Evening !
There was a lot of stuff crammed in there! What was the backstory on these people that owned all this? Those boxes with what looked black half moons on them are military and Held C rations. Probably WWII to Early Vietnam. The rations can sell for a bunch, imagine these are empty but might still be interest in them. The western hat is a RESISTOL, these are extremely good hats and can sell very well We did great at our Friday flea market. My girlfriend bought 30 good ,80s T shirts of the Hippy Biker guy for $50…she tells me they are worth $thousands I found a US military gun lock spring vise from the 1840s in a box of junk , I Bought the whole box for $3
What you should do is fill up plastic bags with clothes and roll them down the stairs .Once you get every thing cleaned out you can go through then in the daylight
That would take too long, as the clothing would be sitting for weeks while we cleaned out the 3 rooms of the attic. Items have to be sorted for flea market merchandise and we need to be able to sort as we go through, so that we aren't bringing a $300 vintage rock band t-shirt (yes, we found some worth that much) to the flea market & selling it for $5. My friend sells at the flea market 3 days a week, so constantly needed new "merch" to bring.
I think we all have words that are just "stuck" in our vocabulary and naturally come out in our speech. I've told myself a few other words to use in place of "Fun", but my memory said "Nope, not remembering any of them!"
I have battery operated lanterns from Harbor Freight I use for storms. Small, portable, bright. Not like the old Coleman camp lights. Much more convenient. Check them out.
Please, please tell me if you saw the beautiful, I think it was a jacket, it made it in Tacos video at about the 15 minute mark. The shirt/jacket was a bright green with very colorful flowers on it. If you love color, you would love it! ✌🏼❤️
I kind of wish that you wouldn't keep some of the vintage clothing you find! I wonder how many of the items make it intact through a washing machine! I wish I could take you shopping to buy some "cleaner" clothes. I know - vintage wear is your gig. Just the same ... A party look would look awesome on you!
