Found an El Camino in the Woods on my Land... and it's actually kinda cool 

Bored?? These videos are why we're here, the ranch is a bonus. This kind of stuff is how you started, never stop filming it.

New(ish) El Camino, you pet a racoon, and a surprisingly good restoration on a trailer. This episode was peak 'Off the ranch'. The only thing it was missing was "do something today to make yourself better tomorrow then you were yesterday" but youre kind of the living embodiment of that statement so its all good.

Matt with the amount of acreage you have if allowed you should make some rain catchment tanks through our your property and perhaps some water towers that can catch water as well. It would make things alot easier; God forbid if a fire actually did break out. The trailer can only hold so much but the water towers and catchment tanks would be easy fill stations. Loving the resort episodes. Lotsa love from Northern West Virginia 💕

Never bored watching videos like this. That raccoon has to be the friendliest wild animal I’ve ever seen.

Matt you should consider putting sprayers on the back of the trailer so you can just tow it while spraying for the roads and sites

The abandoned El Camino would be a great project for a collaboration with Derek at VGG. It would be pretty cool to see what y'all could come up with on that, and get him on Demolition Ranch too.

I think Zorro is a prefect name for him. It’s super cool how friendly and trusting he is.

The el Camino needs to be a security/first aid/response car for the ranch. With a radio to call the base and get assistance…with a range and guests you’ll need something to help out and that’s almost perfect! Light bar and everything!

Matt's new strategy for buying new vehicles: "Mere! Look what I just 'found' on our property!"

The extra 4ft on the trailer- you could put a toolbox with extra fire equipment ( like breathing apparatus, fireproof clothing, blankets, shovels for spot fires)

I actually really enjoy these episodes of seeing something "restored" or revived. Exactly what you're trying to do with the entire resort. Super excited to see more content on that elco. You should name the raccoon "Bandit". Or Remi for Remington.

I actually enjoyed this episode alot, I like actually watching you work on something and do some exploring!

I usually put on these videos while doing dishes, even if they aren't the most exciting I really really enjoy them! It's the kind of random projects that remind me of growing up with my dad. If these videos being monitored is helping and you don't completely hate making them then keep them coming, we'll watch!

A year and a half ago I bought a house on 20 acres near Yosemite. About 6 months after moving here I found an abandoned gold mine on the property.

That raccoon was definitely still fairly young. It was sooo super chill though, that was awesome! Best of luck Matt!!

Definitely not boring. I am envious of your skillset Matt. I've seen shows on the History channel that have this level of production quality. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite channels on this platform.

Would love to see VGG help with el Camino. Also, with the extra space on front of trailer consider plastic barrels that you can easily install/remove and fill with water during dry spells.

Trailer reno was great. Loved seeing the El Camino - can't wait to see what you do with it. I sort of don't understand breaking the mason jars. You have a lot of animals. They can hurt themselves on shards of broken glass.

You need to get rid of the metal cables on your winches in general. You need synthetic winch ropes. They are just as strong and much safer if they do end up breaking

Great video! These restoration videos are so fascinating. My dad used to do stuff like that. So did my grandfather on my mom's side. He turned an old 32 deuce coup into a small flat bed truck for his small farm after WW2

Depending on how heavy the pump is, you may want to place it towards the front. As the water is used up the tank will get lighter and then all your weight will be at the rear. Just a thought.

I feel like I can speak for everyone who watches your channel and had been for years now that we really enjoy watching the videos you post. So for the watering of the roads plumb in a pipe across the back of the trailer and attach 4 fire sprinklers across it then you can just turn the pump on and flip a valve to wet your roads we do it for field fires here in Tennessee

Petting that raccoon was easier than you thought. Lol. Just showes how good of a person you are, when the wild life trusts you.

I enjoyed watching you fix stuff as its all part of running the ranch. Raccoon was funny seemed really tame. You need one of those trucks with a water cannon on them for riot control but also could use it for fires.

I would never accuse Matt of planting something in a video. All I'm saying is that if he did plant something in a video, it would definitely be THAT CAR!

If that's the OEM grille it's a 1981 and yes the chrome trim around the windows / etc are factory. Owning an 81 myself (and I have a parts car too) I've done a ton of research on these things.

When I came home a few years back I found that a raccoon had set up a nest under my porch, I noticed my cats outside bowl was empty every night. I set up a camera and found a very large raccoon was stealing his food but also my cat was sharing the food with it. She never approached me but about a month later I notice her with 3 young raccoons. They never seemed to care about me whenever I came out except when the mother was with them. She hissed at me. My wife suggested I try hand feeding one, and with a snickers fun sized in hand I went out. To my surprise one of them came right up and took it and skittered away. Then it became a daily trend with the 3 cubs and their mother who would hiss but still take the snickers. The cubs however became like pets, allowing us to pet them and even on occasion having one or two use the cat door to join us inside. I think they get a bad rap but if you watch them they are a very gently animal. Mischievous but gentle.

The trailer came out fantastic, but id check the weight rating of the tires you're using, as they might not be up to what you're using it for. Certainly looking forward to seeing the El Camino brought back to life, what a fantastic find that was.

Matt I like watching pretty much anything you post. It's not boring it's just life and you have in interesting one with all the stuff that you are doing and I enjoy watching. Whether it be hanging out with the family, renovating your house, renovating the ranch, working on the vehicles I'm going to watch all. P.S. when are you going to have Cletus over to shoot some pew pew's? That would be awesome!
