You ever just be walking somewhere and suddenly the streets are empty and it's suddenly quiet and you can see what it would be like for a moment? I've only had it a couple times but it's very cool.
"Sometimes I want the whole world to be abandoned.... maybe someday." A man after my own heart!! Loved this. Thanks for sharing and NOT revealing the location. People ruin everything.
When I was a kid in London just after the WW2 there were multiple abandoned & partially destroyed places we kids used to explore - this reminds me of that - trying to get into a house with locks all over the place - many times they were still partially standing, hence the locked parts, but often their gardens had fruit trees that we kids raided when the fruit was ripe - it all seemed such a huge adventure in my childhood - little demons !
my nan used to tell me the same stories of her doing this as a child in east london! she was born in 47 and she remembered still exploring towards the end of the 50s in bombed out houses
The quality of this video was excellent, Shiey. Everything looked crisp and crystal clear. I love you, man. You're chill and adventurous at the same time. It's a winning combination.
🚫water sitting for a long time inside pipes can contain very dangerous bacteria.. also if its old lead pipes the water can contain toxic amounts of lead etc etc …dont even touch that water⛔️
I wish I had the perspective that you have of keeping the location private when I was younger. I shared the location of my favorite abandoned place with the wrong people and watched it slowly become more and more vandalized over time. Its since been demolished but I truly wish I hadn't shared it with as many people, as I would have been able to enjoy it more in its final years. Much respect to you Shiey, I love your videos.
@@TheMicho1983 Probably just rural exodus. Here in Spain is a big problem and there are plenty of towns like this or ones with just 10 old people living
There is a video from one of his old livestreams talking a bit about philosophy. I really want to spend a day with him learning his views and how he wants to live
lol? that's a dumb mentality, from the age of 18 when you are no longer a minor, you are not a kid anymore regardless of how you look or what you do. let me give you an example, if a guy looks young and he's something like 27 years old, doesn't have a deep voice, would you call him a kid just by that? no. and also, you can't call a due a kid if he's younger than you, lol, another dumb mentality.
watched this 2 years ago & subbed. ive been trying to remember your name & this channel. FINALLY found you again 2 years later since you left a comment on an old bald and bankrupt video. so happy
I love how even when Shiey changes country, he keeps the right amount of vibes from his previous vid. It’s never to much of a contrast…I like that! I’d like to catch up with him at some point in the future because there’s so much hidden beauty on this planet & Shiey does an awesome job of highlighting many of them that we would never see! It’s so strange just how many of these abandoned cities & towns there actually are!
🚫water sitting for a long time inside pipes can contain very dangerous bacteria.. also if its old lead pipes the water can contain toxic amounts of lead etc etc …dont even touch that water⛔️
@@BrokenGrandma I was just about to say that! 😂 …But is absolute correct about the potential levels of lead in that water. Not that that had anything to do with my initial comment though!? 🤷🏻♂️
i really can’t put into words how excited i get when i get a Shiey upload notification these videos mean so much to me and i’ve grown to really appreciate abandoned architecture an shieys bravery, he doesn’t have to record these videos but he does it for us and i can’t thank him enough, Shiey for Life.
You removing that lock looked like magic on a small screen :P It is kinda hard to believe people leaving those nice homes. A house is so expensive many people never get a chance to build one. Must be hard to leave behind. When you look at how much work went into every bit of it. The nice stones on the big house, all those wooden furnishings.
This is one of the few channels where I'm genuinely excited to see a new video. It's just a different vibe. It transports you to a different place for a while. I'm always glad to see him safe.
You guys realize that when he's not filming a video he's probably in a beautiful flat somewhere. Dude has 2.5 million Subs. If he's not filming he probably lives in luxury.
Guys, HERE is The Savior YaH The Heavenly FATHER HIMSELF was Who they Crucified for our sins, NOT jesus, and “HERE IS THE PROOF” From the Ancient Semitic Scroll: "Yad He Vav He" is what Moses wrote, when Moses asked YaH His Name (Exodus 3) Ancient Semitic Direct Translation Yad - "Behold The Hand" He - "Behold the Breath" Vav - "Behold The NAIL"
I can't express how much respect I have for you shiey. Your efforts to preserve the privacy of each location are greatly appreciated. Hope all is well.
Let's imagine only 10 people left on our Earth. It can take a thousand years for each of them to meet. People on the planet live ~110 years max. You want to explore all the countries and all of the remote islands, you must own/"borrow" a big boat/ship or a long distance airplane and be a trained pilot or a "ship conducting person".
Hey man I just wanted to thank you for not putting any more suspenseful background music on your videos. I find abandoned places so peaceful. I probably will never go in one myself because I'm a coward - lol - but it's so relaxing to watch you do it. Your videos always calm me down and make me feel happy. I just wanted to say thank you and keep up the great work :)
I love anything old and abandoned too . Probably because of a misspent youth reading post apocalyptic books , and movies . But I love finding old caves and miners huts , cemeteries . These places are so quiet and peaceful , they feel almost excited to have a visitor after so long being abandoned .
@@sayain6584 I'm 44 mate , I'm a bit of a quad bike enthusiast,, so I spend a lot of time out doors riding through forests , old railways are great fun too there's always abandoned buildings and bridges to have a look at . It's all an just an excuse to get outside and go for a ride though 😉
I do like the fact you blurred out the things that could give the location away, respectful exploring is always nice, just a guy exploring new places and not vandalising them.
I was stationed at Torrejon in the early 80's. My friends and I would take roads trips at least once a month. We'd just pick a direction and go. When we spent half of our money, we'd head back. We had some awesome adventures there. The Spanish folks out in the country were very nice. Some were very curious about us Americanos too.
@@Bonky-wonky so after 9/11 they knocked down abandoned stuff and people started getting nervous? Why would have fake terror attack In America get the world nervous
Damn...what a place! I could buy a house over there with stunning mountain and lake views, wouldn't be too many people around, no hustle & bustle, just your own peace. Every morning I'd go to the lake and listen to the waves, while reciting a little Spanish poem that goes--> realmente amo el agua, siempre ha tenido un poder curativo sobre mi, siento que cada ola se lleva todo lo malo. Thank you Shiey for showing us this lil beautiful village 💜
@@matthew7992 Are you saying these villagers were paid to move to Italy? Now that's weird! Do you know a reason for this? They wouldn't have to pay me to move to a village like this! I hope it's possible at some point in my life, though would be nice to move to a village where live also other people, not too much, but little...it would be quite isolated to live alone, I'm not that introverted lol.
nothing will suddenly come out to spook you, if anything it's just panic animals that don't know what to do so they just run out hoping for the best, i've seen it quite a few times and got spooked too lol.
The 3 people above me have not yet experienced the reality that is the 'paranormal' and seem to think it doesn't exist.. May God have mercy on their souls when it halpens to them finally 😥
Whenever im fealing down or lost i come to your channel and it at least gives me the insperation to keep exploring and climbing. And your music always is good.
This... This clip is a prime example of why I watch your clips dude. The respect for the ghosts of the past, the appreciation of the silent beauty of abandonment 🙌 Looking forward to more
ohh i knew where u where at just after seen the area, that has been abandoned for a while, the goverment wanted to sell it but it costed around 2 million euros, the company that bought the area had some problems with the bank and at the end nobody bought it. The area has around 20 houses, it was abandoned probably cause it was very far away from everything and people that used to live there died from old, the original town is underwater.
It feels like i have watched you grow up for the last 6 years! ... lol Been following you a while and love the places you drag us along too, the videos, the time it takes to make edit and upload these, personally I would like to thank you, sir!
I love this channel and it always makes me thing of the lives that people must have had in all these abandoned places, now gone to ruin, with possessions still in place.
We use to go to the abandoned train station, cemeteries and warehouses in Detroit when we was teenagers. Your videos reminds me of those days 😂 stay safe and free dude
@@ianferguson6604 getting chased by stray dogs and security guards 😂 there was a spot under the viaduct you could get into the basement at the train station. There was some sheet metal peeled up with Troys House spray painted on it lol that’s how we got in back in the day. Great place to smoke a joint up top
@@benedictuswinner3995 The house has obviously been abandoned, so no one is interested in it anymore. Also, he didn't destroy or steel anything. He also did not reveal the location of the place, so that this place is not haunted by not-so-respectful people. So I think he does show respect for the place.
@@benedictuswinner3995 its clear you and Kluu has some kind of control/ownership issues. The dude does not want to do harm to anyone, he just wants to pursue his passion to explore things that are ABANDONED . its you guys that have issues with this cause you do not directly benefit from what he is doing. But I know 100% that if you two where making some kind of money or something from this you guys would be like "ya its respectful". Your type is like crabs in a bucket. you hate anyone doing well unless you are somehow doing better. This is why the world can not have nice things and keep it. Its because of people like you.
Memories lay there, people loved, cried and they celebrated. It always has something eire when you see a deserted town like that. When I saw you walking in the well preserved house a feeling of trespassing came over me. This used to be a hobby of mine too going into deserted places.
@@bigbone88 Well, If I'd experice the stuff he did over the years, it's worth the prison. Rather living life the way he does than living a life without taking any risks and just floating with the Mainstream.
5:57 WHY would anyone abandon such a beautiful house / villa?? That's just sad, man. Weird that the electricity and water still work even though it's clearly abandoned.
I imagine some of those houses they didn't intend to abandon and were going to come back for holidays etc. But after a while it got to be too much work to maintain / clean up and get the place liveable.
Ok I see so many people praising this guy, he seems cool. But so does like every other exploring channel I've ever seen? Why do people act as if they see youtubers like this who just destroy abandoned places?
I believe every cabinet is open and everything is torned apart because looters and thieves already went to the place, I dont think the owners would break their houses windows like that just because they were leaving
"Yeah. This is my type of place. So calm, so peaceful. Sometimes I want the whole world to be abandoned. Maybe some day." - I feel this on so many levels @shiey
I am always so conflicted about being happy about your preserving the secrecy of locations or wanting to know where places like this are. But when I actually think of it, I think that maybe I wouldn't be able to have the right eyes to see the beauty of these places like you, and I feel lucky to have your point of you. Hope everything goes well, each year that passes I worry less about you, but take care anyway!
Wow such a beautiful location, if I were homeless I would be fixing that house up and moving right in, power, water and incredible nature. What a place! Shame it was abandoned, so many towns are these days, especially in Italy. There is simply no work for the younger generations so they moved to bigger cities. I have a feeling with how the world is right now, we'll be seeing people leaving major cities for more remote areas.
Fr tho, like for me its “bro… the world is so big, there are tons of places you can explore, or a lot you can also do, its like that feeling you get when you start a hugeeee RPG game and you’re just thrilled and excited as to what you’ll be able to do with all those possibilities
I love this episode.Summer atmosphere,Beautiful houses,Cicadas Sound,Peaceful Scenes but no one appears.Quite soothing and chilling.Because I have winter depression your works are very good relief.Thank you!
There are more than 3.000 abandoned villages in Spain, most of them in the northern region (Galicia, Asturias and Castile and León), but also in Andalusia, Aragon and Catalonia.
@@inthefade During the period, which started in 2008, unemployment rates became alarming, the bankruptcy of companies became routine, foreigners returned to their country and many Spaniards had to seek support in other nations of the European bloc. Cutting public spending and labor instability became part of the lives of millions of Spaniards and foreigners residing in the country. The economy had gone on a terrifying roller coaster: now it rose and now it fell at full speed. At the height of unemployment in 2013, rates reached 26%.
„No high five“ really made me laugh 😅 Just stumbled across your channel and watched a view videos, I really like how you are and how you’re exploring. Thank you for taking us with you on these journeys :)
I've seen Shiey do some daring stuff on this channel, but opening the tap of a abandoned building gave me goosebumps! That's some Legionella carrying shit
You can get sick trough breathing in the bacteria. However, drinking contaminated water is harmless. Legionella typically does not spread directly between people.
In small towns like this, in Spain, people like hunting and is isual they have a lot of shotguns. Be careful, if something catch you, you will be in trouble
Yes, it is true. Also, there are a lot of villages that are small and abandoned since some years because people came to big cities for better oportunites.
One really interesting “illegal freedom” place for you to visit would be my home country in Cyprus. The Turkish occupied 1/3 of the country - but specifically the ghost town called “varosha”, which has been empty since the 70’s. Although some people manage to get to it through the sea! Check it out. 😊 you can contact me for tips also. ✌🏼
First thing to came in my mind is: "HELL YEAH, Shiey still alive!" Second one is: "How in the hell he find all this awesome places?" Grate video as always dude!
Very cool! It was so nice to see the sun and hear the dry crunching sounds. I am in Washington state so the sun and dry is a distant memory. Thanks for the tour!
Awesome job Shiey! This adventure/exploration was freakin amazing. I love ur ideas as a form of content. No ones doin this type of work! Bravo homie, & stay safe!
@Eddy's Return so no one you say? See what happened there? Gosh u must've been so excited to be able to speak about all these urban explorers you wouldve been able to name drop. Yet u assumed wrong. See... im not on any social media platforms, but i do take photos of abandoned buildings and city scenes while on rooftops. So yeah Shiey is totally unique, especially with this explore.
I love these videos. When I go to a playground i just have this desire to climb because of these videos. Since im only 11 and doing this now, I would love to explore abandoned places like these in the future
