I hate the reputation this show has, even worse now because of that one nightmare of a song getting out, the entire score is phenominal its such a shame people do nothing but punch down on trinity soul. It's one of my favourite anime's and genuinely such a beautiful and artistically interesting experience. This song is so nostalgic, and most of the soundtrack just feels so tender and full of bittersweet memories imbued in its sound.
Honestly, at first, I thought Burning Men's Soul was a good that was so bad, it was good. But finally getting the chance to watch Persona: Trinity Soul for the first time this year, and considering it's a spinoff/sequel series to my favourite game ever, Persona 3, I wanted to give it a watch. While I personally believe there are times where the anime does tend to go all over the place, and that there are some concepts (like extracting Personas) that could've been done more, the main reason why I kept watching Trinity Soul is because I was engaged. I loved how the characters were written, and the world and theming are beautiful, and I love the OST so much. Hell, Found Me (END 2) has become my all-time favourite credits theme in all of Persona, and one of my favourite Persona songs in general. The same with one of the battle music Reverse the Destiny which is also up there in my Top 10 Favourite Persona tracks ever! But looking back at that one song, Burning Men's Soul, after finishing the anime... I literally could not bring myself to relisten to that song for fun anymore. Even worse when that song is a lot of Trinity Soul is mostly known for, and I just downright hate it. Trinity Soul has imho the worst reputation in anything of the Persona series, and I just wish it got a better one than what it has now.
@@TheRiderOfChaos you never even heard the vocals during the show because either the song isnt on long enough or because by the time it does the characters are already talking over it, i think the sample was used pretty well in that sense. It's sad people do nothing but trample on trinity soul without having seen it and if you ever mention you like it or draw character from it people will not cease to remind you how much they dont like it (without having seen it or even know what its about)
