Back in 1977 my husband worked at TRW starting off floor sweeping for $15 an hour he passed away in 1997 very young but worked his way up to machinist. Those were the days, i miss him but we made 3 beautiful children!!

WAY TO GO!!!!!!! You could have anywhere between $25,000.00 - $50,000.00 in profit depending on the values of the jewelry and the coins. You doubled your money with the Benjamins, and everything else in the locker is pure profit. Get new locks for the tool cabinets if you can't find the keys to them. That will only cost a few hundred dollars at most. By having professionals replace the locks, you will keep the value of all of your tool cabinets intact. You really have been blessed by getting this storage locker.

I'm in shock and I can only imagine how y'all must feel!! One of those pennies in a protector was marked 1909 VDB......worth a TON!!! I am so excited for you!! I don't even know what to say. Some of the jewelry appears to be antique, and that honestly wouldn't surprise me. Can't wait to see what all you find in the rest of the unit.

He may not of had any close family and as we all know you can't take it with you when you pass over. Sometimes men who have been in the service have a hard time being in a relationship and some even become distant from love ones. I have seen this happen to lots of friends i have befriended. Sadly they have a difficult life ptsd + bi-polar disorder.

It was going to happen sometime! I'm just glad I was able to watch you all get "The Best Storage Unit Ever"! I can't wait to see what all is in the rest of the unit! It makes me wonder if maybe this gentleman was single with no one who cared about him so he put all his money into what he liked in life while he was alive. Now there is new people to cherish his collections! It's too bad he didn't feel the need to help with things like the homeless, child abuse or giving some to those with little or nothing. OK you two, you got 16K in hundreds. Those are old hundreds, may be worth more, and if their serial numbers are in sequential order, they're worth even more. Also, if they're silver certificate, or if they have red stars on them, even more. Don't just deposit them in the bank till you carefully check them out!! Amazing storage unit Geremy and Jorge!! those silver rings could be platinum. We had one wedding ring with miner cut diamonds and it was inset with a layer of platinum. Jeweler said never melt it.
