Agreed. This is the worst robbery in game because it traps you and you can't do anything else except this strat. I'm finding it difficult to replicate also, I wish one lawman seeing me didn't mean every lawman seeing me.
I have one thing to say, I just learned that there was a safe on the wall you could access. Never knew that, so many years later and still learning new things about this game. Crazy!
@@NatayaDellavedova because they ddint give a damn about it. There is literally A DOOR at the back and somehow it closed and unable to open. WHY?! because rockstar dont like players at all.
I love the whole play through with each mission being profitable and not hacking gold bars. It makes it challenging to get all the weapons upgraded and the outfits. This is great kind of play through. You gotta really work for it and play hard. So very awesome. Great content.
Doing the treasure hunting and 6 people statue gold bars and the derailled train cart you will have enough gold to not worry about money. And those are not hacking. Just looking at a guide to get them in chapter 2.
Exactly.. my first play through was organic and at the same time almost euphoric... first time a piece of art made me almost addicted. Eventually finding the treasure and it until well into the game where you'd be bored hunting or something was so amazing, you truly felt lucky. Like it changed your situation quickly, now you can pay off those bounty's and buy and lil extra ... my second play through using guides was fun but ehh, too easy. Getting that big ass satchel was easy as hell (hated not being able to carry all the loot).. First knowing where all the animals are, and 2nd not having crazy bounty's to fight off. I'd love the feeling of having to explore but also be careful.. find a shack or house whatever, start looting it up and then outta no where 4/5 bounty hunters show up and it's whole ass shoot out. It took me SOOO long to beat the game.. and loved that. It wasn't like other games like spider man where you blast through the story mode and then never end up doing any of the side shit cause it's just feels like filler. RDR2 truly felt like an adventure. Sorry for the book.
@@mr.channel6467 I'm afraid that's not exactly how things work. They will work for civilians, but if a police officer sees you, he will recognize you immediately. You can use another horse, clothes, hairstyle - it will not help you. In RDR2 cops have super powers!
Great walkthrough! My favorite way to take care of the room was to just toss dynamite into the room after the doctor is offed and is out of the way. Boom! Everybody dies. Then you can just pop each lawman that comes in like you demonstrate, and you can pretty much clean the place out safely.
Brilliant strat Mr. 7 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 well done! This is gonna come very handy for new players. 👍🏻 I'll give this a go on my 6th playthrough next month. 😎 Thanks a lot and keep them coming!
@@LegendaryName I played GTA 5 since it came out and just couldn’t get into other games until this year when I downloaded RDR2 now I’ve finished the story 5 times and I’m almost rank 100 online with all roles maxed. I’m still going to start another play through probably tomorrow because I accidentally sold a piece of jewelry as Arthur when I was gout stash my cash at the pig farm and now that I’m 99% I need a gold spring bracelet to make a stupid talisman to get 100%. I don’t mind at all replaying it though because this game is so damn good. I’m pretty sure my last play through I saw 99% of the random encounters as well.
@@agoodballet 100% can't be broken, it's not missable, at least not the Total Completion stat. Unless you mean doing stuff that doesn't count, like studying Guarma animals before they lock off map (you only need 78 of 150 animals, or so).
One of the worst designed scripted events in the game. It's basically handcrafted to trap you in. Just giving the player the ability to lock the door they came in through and being able to open the back door where you have your horse on standby would've made this robbery soo much smoother and enjoyable. Can't believe a game with so many little details fumbled this simple robbery. and just for what a 100 bucks?
Spot on, hard to believe with so much attention to detail that they dropped the ball on this. Especially considering how early it is in the game, meaning the vast majority of players will get to do this as their first robbery
Yeah... on my first playthrough that's exactly what my plan was. Got a bit dumbfounded when I realized it wasn't possible, especially since you can knock at the back door. I thought I was a criminal mastermind until that point. Left there with a huge bounty and a wet fart of stolen loot in my hands... a shame.
If you do this at the very beginning of chapter 2, the gun will now be unlocked for purchase, so go look for the guy bitten by a snake and help them, then get another (but free) schofield. :D I keep forgetting to save. I did this robbery for the first time after watching this video. My bounty was $108. :'(
I botched the robbery and got surrounded so I loaded the previous save to try again, but didn't get the cue to rob the back room. I checked my inventory and had the gun and the money with no bounty.
If u do it right, the law doesnt come at all till u blow the safe. This is one of the few safes u cant crack.. Or I'd be able to without any wanted level! But long as u run out soon as u loot the safe, the cops Wont see u.. No loss of honor or bounty! The hard part is killing everyone silently without then getting a shot off! Homing tommy hawks help..
@@savannahpaige3670have to make sure you don't miss at all as you only can carry 3, improved throwing knives may be a better idea as you can carry 8, downside is they are not instant kill gurantee as the tomahawks🤔 fast and precision is the key regardless👍
@@Kadake1122 that is probably easier! I thought youd get blocked from going into camp for "leading an enemy into camp" doing it that way. The one I was referring to is a bit of steps and almost not worth it
@@andrewlowden322 the method I use, soon as the white dots show up after the message saying you've lead them to camp, blow yourself up. Only works within like 10 seconds after that pop up shows, then when you respond run and set up our own camp
I'm pretty sure I didn't do this on my first playthrough when I originally played the game on PS4 back when it first got released, but what annoys me is the fact that I'm doing another playthrough on PC & I literally played this yesterday without thinking to go it with my mask equipped. The total of what I got from robbing the business was around $50(the money laying on the table, looting the O'driscolls & the random pocket watches I picked up)....I didn't know about the safe in that room. Ended up having to pay off a $77 bounty when it was all said & done since I had to shoot down a lot of officers to make my way out/escape the crime scene, lol.
Honor is a concern to me early in Chapter 2 when I'm trying to get a 25% discount on day 2 of Chapter 2. You don't lose any honor if you just grab the money on the Table & the Schoefield Revolver, then leave. There's no need to shoot the Lawmen at all. I collect the money & gun on the table, then run out before any Lawman comes in. The Lawmen outside spot & shoot at you, but it doesn't matter when you can usually not get shot at all while running to your horse parked around back. Then head to tge nearest border to the West where it's easiest to lose the Lawmen. I always just get a $1.50 Bounty, certainty not worth the effort it takes to avoid getting one.
When i blew up the safe the "unknow suspect" changed to arthur morgan. First even tho they knew it was me i didnt get any bounty but when I stepped a foot outside like 20lawmen started shooting at me and I got a $201 bounty
If you do get a bounty you can use the back room (not the one that you rob, as you cannot return to that room) as cover and you basically become immortal because there is only one way in to the building so you can just mow folks down as they walk through the door. You are limited only by the amount of ammo you are carrying
This was how i did it the first time i found out about the drug store robbery. Didn't use a Springfield though. Just used a repeater with a scope. But the first time i played i didn't know about the drug store till after the strawberry robbery
I reloaded like 4 times cause the wanted would go from “unknown suspect” to “Arthur Morgan” and I thought I was doing it wrong; but finally I just played through and after the wanted cleared I didn’t have a bounty at all. God bless you man 😂
leave the money on the table, it keeps the side business open - you get to rob the place for ever any which way you like, the safe is always full, the cash register is once a day
i guess the game never expected anyone to be able to pull off the robery without getting spotted those law man that are waiting for you to exit i find it weird how they didn't panic when you shoot one of them i guess it will make more sense if you were able to kill all the lawman outside with dead eye before they recognize you you won't get a bounty and since your wearing a mask the lawman should recognize you after a couple of seconds before you become wanted instead of getting wanted instally if they just see you
I love this game, like way too much to be healthy. You can do anything imaginable, like a sandbox! It’s amazing, even in online if you survive long enough
Does not work. Soon as i blow up the safe it goes from "Unknown Suspect" to "Arthur Morgan" every single time. Tried 8 times, did everything exactly like in the video, but they know its Arthur the moment that dynamite blows up. After that every kill counts towards the bounty, so I end up with $100+ bounty. The way i ended up doing it is looting everything but the safe, taking out the lawman that comes inside before he notices me, then blowing up and looting the safe, and just legging it. I left my horse round the back so when i escaped through the small alley I jumped on my horse and got away as quickly as possible. Since i didnt kill any more lawmen after they found out its Arthur my bounty was only $5, so still made profit.
Well after god knows how many attempts of trying to get no bounty I finally managed to do it without getting a bounty and didn't have to kill the doctor. It was very frustrating but it can be done! That bug where the lawman can sometime see you through the wall is soo annoying. Thanks for sharing this!
Absolutely flawless, the only way I’ve managed to escape without a bounty is by executing myself with dynamite but I’ve never cleared the entire room! Outstanding!
I did this one during the later part of the game but I want reload and try to mimic this flawless heist, sucks that I am experiencing the glitch where the ROB option refuses to appear, whether it be looking in the window, seeing the dirty sheriff or knocking on the back room, so I need to settle doing the pull the gun at the front door thingy which is very situational with the bystanders constantly camping outside the shop. The glitch also disarms the put the dynamite on the safe but yeah throwing is more fun.
I killed all of them with throwing knives before they had the time to fire a shot to not warn the law enforcement, but they came anyway. That's one of the things i don't like in this game, they don't let us find a smart way to do it
You can get away with any crime with zero bounty if you hide your face before, during and after the crime. It's a very basic mechanic the game teaches you pretty early on.
My game crashed as soon as I ran out the store and when I started the game back up I had the money the gun and no bounty it’s crazy cause my game never crashed before
The only thing I learned about from this video was that there is a safe there. Don't even think I had a place to buy dynamite yet when I robbed the doctor in chapter 2, certainly I didnt have a springfeild. Whole reason I robbed the place was so I could get that pistol without ever spending a dollar at the gun store lol.
Same I was watching a tutorial of how to get a pair of each of the revolvers in early chapter 2 as red Harlow said it was never about the money (note I really wish that the side arms you used the most would have been labelled Arthur's in the epilogue to give them a more important feel because you as the player used them the most kind of like picking up the side arms of the famous gunslingers
Wait what, the cone of sight works that well? Omg if they had really leaned into the stealth as an option on missions it was all there, including the unconscious states needed to go full on metal gear west. Aaah it would have been so good.
I just never knew that you could kill them before getting a look at you and still remain anonymous, hell I've just started my fourth playthrough and I didn't really know about the qickdraw deadeye
I tried doing this but no matter what I did after the first lawman was incapacitate the next one will identify me. So I found a workaround, just don t kill any lawmen and you get only 5 measly dollar bounty and around 150 dollar reward plus a gun.
nicely done, one of few people who did it properly but boy...the trouble you have to go through because of the dumb as* system, not to mention this is supposed to be a mission for early start when you don t have explosive rounds or dynamite or even a full face mask (not that the mask matters too much lol)
I mean, that is cool, but I always feel like the juice is just never worth the squeeze on these little jobs. (I think it's crazy that you can't dip out the back on this one)
I don't care about the money, i want the revolver (my favorite). I've done it twice and have two revolvers. I managed to do it with a 1.50 bounty on my head (3 total for both attempts) but you definitely beat me here.
I don't get what I'm doing wrong. I'm copying your video but at some point, they always know it's me. It can be after I kill the 1st, 2nd or 3rd lawman, even though they aren't looking at me. I got Arthur Morgan wanted after blowing the safe several times despite nobody being around to witness. Regardless, I can't duplicate your results. Appreciate the video nevertheless!
So I just started playing.... and I've been thinking about this one.... Before watching this video, my theory right now is to practice using the dead eye, and go in with poison throwing knives.... boom boom boom.... in and out...no noise.... no wanted level to escape
Doesn't work. Been tried so many times by so many people. Even if you don't blow open the safe and not a single bullet is fired the entire time, it doesn't matter. The moment everyone in the backroom is dead, the game starts a silent timer of a couple of seconds. Once those few seconds are over, law begins investigating.
While doing this I died before I could get my hands on the gun. Since then I have been trying to do this again but I won’t get access to the back room business again. There is nobody in that room neither and only option I get when I point the gun at the doctor is loot the register. Also I didn’t save before I died the first time
If you died _after_ you cleared out the backroom and while running from the law, the robbery still counts as completed. The side business robberies don't count as story missions, so there are no checkpoints you'll respawn at if you fail at some point. If you die _before_ you take anything from the room you're trying to rob, the heist counts as incomplete and you can try again another time. If you die _after_ you took something, as in anything at all, from the backroom, the heist counts as complete and you will not get access to it again.
The mask in GTA 5 just adds a level of badass to your crimes. In RDR 2, it hides your identity when you are wanted or have a bounty. Without it, they will get your name, on sight.
