FOUNDATION BATTLE | Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear vs. Estée Lauder Double Wear | Dejana Pasic 

Personally I have been wearing both foundations very often.I have a very oily mature skin. The Lancome foundation looks more natural and doesn´t set on my wrinkles as much as the Estee Lauder one, also the EL feels more heavy and the Lancome feels very light. I get more oily with the EL rather that the Lancome foundation. Sometime I get breakouts with the Estee Lauder one. To me, the Estee Lauder foundation oxidize more than the Lancome. I get the perfect match for my skin color in the Lancome (47 shade in USA) , and with Estee Lauder I have to mix colors (30 shades in USA). Anyway, both are great foundations! You have to try both and find which one works better with skin.

That Lancôme foundation is amazing!!! When I wear it, it actually looks better and better as each hour passes. It makes the skin look flawless

I want to point out how beautiful your skin is. You're so pretty with and without makeup! I agree with the Lancome side, your contour didn't look as seamlessly blended as the Estee Lauder side. I was thinking about purchasing one of these foundations as I have very oily skin and I have tried a sample of the Estee Lauder one. I think it's nice that that Lancome one comes with a pump, but I don't think my skin will react well with the rose fragrance that you mention. I feel like the estee Lauder looks way too cakey and makes my pores and other imperfections more predominate. I purchased the Lancome today, originally went in for the marc Jacobs remarkable and was quickly recommended the lancome and could not be happier, except the fact my bank account doesnt look too nice now. But hey gotta treat yourself on your birthday

i love both these but they're completely different to me! lancome is very natural and is good for almost flawless skin as the coverage is light, estee lauder is super full coverage and hides all your flaws, I can't use lancome anymore because my skins not very clear x

I have worn Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation over a number of years. I try other foundations for a change but I will end up going back to it. My face gets an oily t-zone during the day and Double Wear is the best at preventing a shiny nose. I have never had problems with it settling into fine lines or going blotchy. It is also quick to work with which is great in the morning and I don't need to use a concealer as well.

I have both and I much prefer the Estee Lauder double wear. It performs consistent everyday and it is beautiful on me. Lancome is not so forgiving on my texture and just doesn't provide enough coverage and I hate layering. You should try the Christian Dior Forever Foundation. I also prefer that over Lancome. My biggest issue with the Lancome is 90% of the shade have a pink undertone. Longevity, the Estee Lauder holds way longer hands down! I also had a sensitive reaction with the Lancome and it is the fragrance.

I tried both of these foundations back to back and I broke out with Lancome. I prefer Estee Lauder by far with the coverage and finish. I went on to try many other foundations including Born this way, Makeup forever, Clinique, Tarte, Mary Kay.. Estee Lauder is just the best one so far.

Good job! The Estée Lauder side looks much better, fresher, and flawless. Estée Lauder makes you look younger and healthier.

I've been using the estée double wear foundation for 2 years now since nothing else was as long wearing on my oily skin, but since this winter my skin got dryer and it stick to dry patches a bit, (doing little dotes on my chin). So now I just purchased the Lancome one to try on and see if it's last all day! That was the honest and most detailed review I've seen so far! Thank you!!

So I went to a department store and got a sample of Estee Lauder Double Wear and a sample of Lancome Teint Idole blah blah blah. I've never used Este Lauder fondation and i am curious, but now i am using Lancome Trient Miracle and its amazing! It is super natural, hydrating , and it good coverage!

What a professional, informative and helpful review . I've always used double wear and this review has confirmed that I shouldn't change ! Just to add , your way of presenting is brilliant . Your skin is utterly beautiful!! I’ve tried the Lancôme and wasn’t super impressed. I can get drugstore foundation with similar finish and colour range for so much cheaper.

Thank you for this! I'm just trying out the Lancôme and I'm still leaning towards Estée Lauder. Love the finish and the make up doesn't break up as quickly as Lancôme! I have oily skin so my oil seeps through after about 4-5 hours with Lancôme.

I've used both and for me the Lancome works better. The Estee Lauder seemed to settle in lines and oxidize a bit . Lancome looked great all day. Everyone is different though.

I've always loved the coverage but hated that I still wound of looking very oily almost immediately after application. What ever I compare to Estée DW, DW always wins! I hate it is so heavy and all but it’s beautiful and lasts forever. I have more expensive foundations than this but nothing compares to it, my All Nighter Foundation by UD is similar once applied but it cracks up on me as soon as I go out so it’s just sitting I’m my drawer now 😔

Best foundation review I’ve seen on RU-vid. I’ve been wearing Lancôme for over a year. I was thinking of switching over because I’ve noticed not being the greatest on textured areas. I also agree with you on that it’s difficult to blend and contour over it. I like it but don’t love it. Thanks so much for your review!

I also have both, and you are absolutely right about the powders going on smoother with the estee lauder, and it covers pores a lot better. However, I have very dry skin so I have to wear it with a hydrating primer and moisturize very well before. The lancome works better with my dry skin buy it wears off from my nose and chin at the end of the day. You should do a revew on the Armani Luminous silk :)

The EL DW's "paint scent" is actually the smell of the ingredients itself because it does not contain any added fragrance/perfume. I tried the Lancome foundation before and I had the same itchy, redness reaction to it, I think it was because of the perfume in it because I had the same itchy feeling due to heavily fragranced foundations before as well.

I finally got el after years of contemplating lol hmmm im still not sure how i feel about it, ive tried applying it in every way: with sponge or brush, with or eithout primer, setting and not setting with powder, hmmm but yeah, it practically lasts on my oily skin better than any other foundation if i arrive at least 4-5 hrs that is definitely good already. Now im eyeing teint idole. They gave me the teint miracle sample from sephora, that is crazy, teint miracle was so creamy and my skin looks so smooth and flawless, never seen anything like that before but unfortunately it doesnt work for oily skin and it isnt targeted for that skintype of course, 2 hrs after and im an oily mess lol i hope teint idole has the same finish but with a lasting formula for oily skin types

I have the Lancomé foundation, and the lady who recommended it to me at Ulta told me you shouldn't use powder or even a primer when using it. I still use a primer and it looks fine but I haven't tried using it with powder ever. She said something like it will set itself.

The second one este lauder is not op dark for you ! It applies so good and looks good on you and it might be a bit darker than your neck but from far when I see your body it matches nicely

My absolute favorite is Estée Lauder Double Wear! 🥰 I love dewy foundations as well, because my skin is dry, but I hate how they transfer on everything! Although I would really love to try Light Wonder from Charlotte Tilbury..

estee lauder! i find that the lighter color could show a bit of aging in the skin ( elasticity and lines ). the finish of estee lauder definitely wins for me.. hands down! :) it shows an even finish .. just beautiful

I love the Estee Lauder. Even tho i agree how you can tell its there and it can be a lil drying if you already have dry skin. But I feel can still make it work with a hydrating primer. It always lasts on me even in the hot Texas sun! The lancome looks really good too, maybe Ill try when this my EL one finishes.

I miss Gammlastan very much as well as the beautiful countryside farther north upon the Baltic .. Family homes, seaside cottages, and the like .) and moved back a few years ago. I adore and miss Sweden's very much! I have used lancome makeup palettes, skincare, and fragrance for years. My husband and children always get me alarge favorite fragrance ( 2-3 different one's.)and the Christmas beauty gift set. I've never tried lancome foundation or concealer. I'm overloaded on fragrance, palettes, and the like so my daughter and hubby purchased a kit with concealer, primer, the idole, and a beauty blender in order to purchase the gift set. I've been using bare minerals for several years. I don't really need nor like full coverage. After reading the great and informative comments regarding the lancome idole tiente foundation I'm really excited to try it. Can't wait. I'm so glad I watched this video and read the comments. I wore this foundation years ago, 13 years ago for a few years.. I loved it then and I had dry skin. I had heard the formula changed and didn't love it anymore..

your make up is beautiful. i use lancome because it is non comedogenic. don't know if the estee lauder one is non comedogenic but i admit the estee lauder side looks better because the powders blended better

The first time I have ever heard of the Estelle Lauder foundation was from Tati, who I respect and admire a lot. Back then I was struggling to find a foundation that would suit my needs so I thought I’ll give it a try. I was amazed and haven’t used another one since. The price is a little bit up there but it’s worth every penny and whenever they have it on %%%, i buy 3-4 bottles.

I bought the Clinique foundation, the Mac, Estee Lauder, Dior, Lancome amd by far, FAR FAR FAR Estee lauder is the best one, I even slept with the foundations to see the difference and I just woke up perfectly with the estee lauder, now I wanna try the huda beauty and the laura mercier

I love Estée Lauder a lot been using it for a long time, never tried Lancôme but really want to try it, great review

The EL skips the pores on my nose, the Lancôme doesn’t. Lancôme feels like skin. So glad I went back to Lancôme. Don’t know why I ever stopped wearing it.

The Lancôme Foundation is actually fragrance free, it says on the box. I feel like the foundation works best when I set it with their translucent powder too. Also for the Lancôme foundation, it’s a natural matte so it isn’t completely matte. It’s supposed to have a little shine on it

hi like your vedio, i have them both,lancome one is totally waste money,not couverage,it s light but also run of really fast.and also this foudation after you apply 20 mins it becomes darker.double wear one it covers well and it s really easy to apply.and the colour always stay the same on your face.but for the winter it s little bit dry,better to put a rich cream before.i have also nomale skin with oily t zone.

Immediately I noticed Estee Lauder side looked better the contour and blush blended out better and looks seamless. Lacome side did not look bad but not as good as Double wear💓

Prefiero lancome sus ingredientes son saludables totalmente.. Es más ligera en la piel.. Y para lo que me tiene que cubrir yo la veo súper bien…otra base que me tiene súper enamorada es la de shiseido refresh es súper bonita deja la piel como de porcelana.. es ligera más cubriante que Lancome y lleva ingredientes que te protegen de la luz azul cuando estás en los ordenadores o en el teléfono.. a aparte que lleva protección solar.. Y lo que más me enamora de esta base es que no lleva nada de ingredientes perjudiciales para la piel al contrario lleva antioxidantes que le ayuda a la piel
