Your channel is awesome and very informative! I’m an apprentice mechanic for heavy equipment so I know how to service skid steers, fix hoses, and change fittings but I want to be my own boss in the future. Thank you for sharing your knowledge because I payed attention to everything you did breaking the concrete (and of corse the more jobs you do the better you become at it) and it’s a great business idea. Once you learn the job you gotta learn the business part of it as well. Once again great videos Best in the West!
I found a roll of poly gas pipe and cut pieces about 8” long, slice them length wise and place them over the hoses to protect them it works really well
Sometimes if the concrete is poured over acidic soil it can turn the inside of the concrete slab blue or green. Especially when dumb dumbs pour over top soil. See it all the time up here in Toronto. That may explain the blue color you were describing. Nice work as always!!!!
9:35-9:45 That's a Fact man I cant stress that enough. I'm 3 years into concrete you have to put yourself in the most horrific situations and learn how to overcome them and be comfortable at doing it. This trade allows you to expand your creativity and think outside the box to knock out every jobsite and that's how you hustle bro. I used to question my father on why he moves so fast and just pace yourself because I cant learn good like that but when you run your own concrete business, I mean the whole package demo,grade,form,and pour and depending on the pace of your crew is lot on a plate. So you have to bust your ass and stay positive. When you train your mind to work faster and build that muscle memory your outcome would be on the money all the time. If you think about, doing concrete is the same thing over and over just with different elevations and size, you work fast and diligent. Your gonna be knocking out driveways ,sidewalks ,patios etc like nothing... conquer your craft.Your an A+ for me Anothny, truly the best in f*ckin west. 💪

Great job with all your concrete work and theory but man no way way would I use a skidsteer there.. great job for a mini with a hammer.. way better grade control, way less mess.. less disturbed sub grade that doesn’t require compaction

West Coast Custom Concrete, thank you, I was looking at 14’ 14,000 Lbs dump trailer with the hydraulic cylinder in the front. Not the scissor lift cause you get too much weight in the front and it won’t lift. I like the multi stage cylinder in the front, set up like a dump truck.
I noticed you don’t use Dig Safe. I’m from the NORTH EAST, we never dig anywhere without calling Dig Safe. They come out and mark Water, Gas, Electric anything under the ground you don't want to hit. Doesn't your area have a service like Dig Safe ??? THANK YOU,. Vinny 🇺🇸

Not saying to be shitty but just saying your 75 degree winter day in laguna beach doesnt hold a candle in the devils ass to breaking pouring forming or excavation of any sort on a 20 degree day + windchill day in real saturated clay in the cold weather climates
