Thank you so much for all of these videos you've made! It helps a lot, an I hope you understand the difference you are making, not only in my life, but in all of your viewers' lives. Wish you the best!!!
For the part where you're adding Or subtracting the following fractures For example Questions 18&19 How do you get the 3 over 3? The 4 over 4 and the 2 over 2. To multiply. Against the fraction?
For equivalent fractions, is it the same because 3+3 is 6 and 4+4 is 8 making it double the numbers but 3/4 is just simplified? So for equivalent am i just trying to figure out if the higher fraction 6/8 is the same as the lower fraction 3/4 but simplified?
Did all of the problems before you and got them all. Shows I'm learning. Do you know of any good youtubers that do science lessons for the asvab? Or, do you teach asvab science, too?
Lost me on this chapter. I am practicing for the ASVAB, and struggled with math in school my whole life. The first chapter was very visual and a bit easier to grasp. How can I understand these concepts better?
I can go back and try and do another video to make it easier. It might be awhile before I do that. Go back and watch the video a couple more times, pausing it and taking notes.
The negative can be in either the numerator or denominator or in front of the fraction. A negative divided by a positive will be negative or if the top is positive and the denominator is negative it is still negative.
The red track is screwed into the dado and the fence is attached to the triangle with a slight rabbet joint and recessed screws through the triangle and into the fence. Thank you for supporting the trusquare.
@@ColfaxMath What are the holes on the triangle for? There is no mention of them in the instructions that I saw however they look like scribing guides but they are not accessible most of the time.
Adding and substratum the fractions on part 18 I am confused how did you get 4 over 4 and make that 8 like I understand we need to have 2 of the same dominator
@@ColfaxMath ahhh I get it now it’s a little confusing with the other parts but I’d just have to keep doing it over and over Fractions I never really understood In high school
Okay! Number 30. I did it the long way first, where I got, 1 40/48. Then I did it your way, the short version. And go 1 5/6. Is the 1 40/48 the same as 1 5/6? If yes how do I reduce it to 1 5/6?
@@ColfaxMath you’re telling me! I’ve done all the core and elementary praxis and well as PLT, it’s just the maths part left and I’ve never been able to do maths. Thanks for the videos though. They’re a godsend.
YOU DON'T EXPLAIN HOW 3/4 & 6/8 ARE THE SAME yOU SHOULD PROVIDE A DETAIL ANSWER AND SHOW YOUR WORK ... SKIPPING OVER THE SMALL THINGS IS WHY KIDS GET CONFUSED
No, the bottom number is called the denominator and the denominator would have to go into the top number so 5/16 can not be reduced. If it were 16/5 that could be reduced to 3 and 1/16.
