I'm guessing that Asvine was the manufacturer of the ASC Studio pen which is essentially identical to the P20. The clip type and the emblem on the top of the Studio's cap (which is probably needed for the Studio's clip) are the main differences between the 2 pens. One can change parts between the pens because they are simply identical, including the nib. Given that the Studio was sold for about $180, one can understand why the P20 is a recommended pen 🙂
It could also be that the ASC studio was strongly overpriced ;-). Joke appart your guess could clearly be right (and with a different looking nib) ... thank you for the info (seems you like Chrisrap ;-)) !
Bon jour, another good and detailed review, I'm glad that Vinzenco showed me the path to your channel. I bought this pen as well, it's a great writer out of the box at that time at an reasonable price and later on I bought Asvine-screw-in units separately in different sizes for that particular pen, which also fit some newer Majohn models. Can't remember what models, but these replacement nibs are of outstanding quality and great writers. But, later Asvine became in my book quite overpriced in the western markets (for Chinese products), especially with the V200 Demonstrator and now they offer a matte black version as well, currently only available in western markets at their own shop on platforms like Etsy, Amazon, etc. before they start furnishing a-l-i-x-x-vendors. The matte black V200 suits my tastes much better, on the other hand, i've already got some Vac-fillers and what bothers me most with all of them is the fact that a normal fill is only half of the total capacity. And using all possible tricks or filling them with a syringe can't be the purpose of a dedicated filling system. To much of a flaw for 50 bucks (more or less).
Thank you for the kind words. The P20 is clearly stunning at this price ! For the V200, I believe it is worth the price but I agree, 50$ starts to be, let's say, a boundary. For the ink capacity, in a general way, I've always several pens with me when I travel (I guess it is not really a surprise :-)) but this thing overcomes many problems: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cnsSESdd0rk.html ... Very secure to bring ink with you, and allows plenty of ink in vac fillers (the pen is below the pen filler during the operation). Only problem: impossible to use it with (very) big grip ....
@@FountainPenWorld-z4i the V200 is worth the price. It has titanium parts, which boosts the value. I have two of them and they are among my favorite pens. Some time ago, I had the opportunity to write with the Conid Bulkfiller and the V200. I preferred the V200. I don't think you'd be disappointed with it.
@@UneFontaineDePlumes That Pineider inkwell is really good idea and well processed. Thank you for that good hint. Will search if an Asian (Singapore preferred) online seller keeps it in stock. Deliveries from the US or Europe to Thailand are very expensive regarding shipping and customs.....
