Yes, I feel the same way about my Mammoth, which I came across by chance a year ago. I had to have this club of a FP, just because of its dimensions and its #9 nib. I hadn't taken it for granted that this great FP would also write well, but I was proven wrong in that respect too. A super writing instrument that is out of the ordinary and still writes.
