On this adventure, I was lucky enough to metal detecting at a lost 1860s stage coach stop in Colorado. On site with me for this metal detecting adventure, was DK from Adventures in Dirt ( / @adventuresindirt ) Michael from Metal Detecting NoCo ( / @metaldetectingnoco ) and one other detectorist. We found relics that date back to the times when Colorado was still a territory and were most likely dropped by travelers on the Overland Trail. This turned out to be quite the epic metal detecting adventure for us as we found old silver coins, a historic token, and multiple military relics from that time period.
