I set off with Ephraim deep into the Rockies! Ephraim's Instagram: ephraimroberts Merchandise: foresty-forests-store.creator... Summit Map: drive.google.com/open?id=12GF... / strava / forestyforest
WOW! What spectacular views! Rocko is living an awesome life , watching it is very obvious that she is one very happy and very much loved Pup! Thank you for taking us along and thumbs UP!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
As a painter I can say...way better than a Bob Ross painting! Wow, the views were incredible. That drone shot of the multi colored rock was mind blowing! ❤
Just imagine Foresty and Rocko sporting a Bob Ross fro blowing in the wind high atop the Canadian Rockies............they would have to hang that painting in The Louvre!
I just got back from a road trip to the Jasper area with my 6 year old daughter. As a prairie boy, I found myself looking around in awe at the mountains - many times I was wondering how the heck Foresty Forest bags all of the summits that he does! But we did one little summit with the help of the Jasper Skytram and I think that might have lit a fire inside my little girl. Maybe one day we'll be starting from the bottom!
Looks like Ephraim enjoyed Rocko's company along the trip. Saw his Instagram and see he is a dog lover as well. Rocko is becoming a legend in the climbing world!
This easily could have been 3+ full videos. Instead we got 11 minutes of unmatchably majestic quickshots. It was nice of Rocko to stick close to Ephraim & keep him safe.
Rocko always looks like she is being patient with the slow walkers. 😂 I really enjoy all the effort put in and Rocko really is a great addition. Glad to see you with another explorer. Love your channel. Water that is crystal clear at the waterfall was a treat to behold. ❤
2:00 from a European point of view it is so hard to imagine that that vista is nothing but wilderness. If this vista would be in the alps there would be highways and trainlines in the valleys, villages not only in the valleys but spread-out through the mountains as well. There'd be mountain huts, little guesthouses and alms galore. Cattle grazing everywhere and lifts carrying people up and over the mountain passes in ease. Such a different experience.
It's like that in some areas in the US too, and honestly what you just described sounds like a charming setting and view. There is just so much empty space on the North American continent still. At one point you're mountains were just as empty too. It's both cool and depressing to think about either way.
@@Biggiiful the hiking experience in the Alps is fantastic exactly because it is so populated. It's arguably a better experience ending your hiking day in a mountain alm hut, eating a freshly cooked meal and drinking and ice cold beer, when compared to eating a freeze dried meal from a bag. Add to the centuries of mountain culture of farmers grazing their cattle on alms high in the mountains. Hiking in the alps is as much a culture experience ar it is a nature experience. It's amazing precisely for that reason. But also for the same reason, I find myself hiking in Scotland or Norway more often than in the Alps as it is the wilderness experience that I want to have more than the cultural experience
@concretehead2790some areas are better than others but the UK being an island situation in the middle of the rainy ocean means it will always be quite soggy 😢 but UK is beautiful in its own way
@concretehead2790 they hiked in Southern Alberta west of Red Deer. The Rockies in Alberta and BC and the Purcell Mountains are just as good as the Yukon.
Funny watching a grown man scaling a rock and a little dog watching like it was a goat! Just a reminder that Mother Nature runs things and we just try to fit in!
I keep thinking you can't keep upping your game but low and behold did you ever with this one! John Muir summed it up best: "One day's exposure to mountains is better than cartloads of books. See how willingly Nature poses herself upon photographers' plates. No earthly chemicals are so sensitive as those of the human soul." Amen!
So glad you hooked up with someone who loves doing the unimaginable (or at least for me it is). Rocko was a trooper the entire way and had a great time. Glad you are safe!
You don’t talk about it but your fitness level must be insane. From what it seems your training for big trips is just constantly getting out and testing yourself. A lot of people give outdoor RU-vidrs a hard time for drawing a crowd to remote places but most people would never be able to plan or execute a trip like this. Kudos and thanks for keeping all of us amateur outdoorsman striving for more.
You worry about how you present yourself and your vlogs. Man you never fail to amaze me. WowJust Wow every time. Epic views. Love listening to you. Just amazing
Rocko is the best companion you could ask for but it always make me glad when you can hook up with another human. And man. Never saw the Rockies look so magnificent.
Your most beautiful video yet Foresty and you've had plenty of beautiful videos. You're lucky to live in such a place and thanks for sharing it with us.
2:16 Bob Ross painting indeed, nice video capture ! Video idea : an end of year summary of your top 10 hikes for beauty, top 10 for adventure, top 10 just because you liked them.
Fabulous views! The Canadian Rockies are spectacular. Rocko is a trouper for sure. She's such a good companion for you; she never gives up. Thank you for sharing these adventures. I truly enjoy them.
You are an awesome photographer, Foresty. Choosing the most stunning angles blows us away all the time. And we're with Rocko, we've been following you around ever since when. We love having you in our home here in Western Australia. Yes, we are well and happy. Thanks for asking.
Wow the most beautiful sight of mountains I've ever seen. Because of you taking the videos I would never know such beauty. Thanks for showing us your video's.
The terrain you "do your thing in" is always gorgeous to behold. You and your lungs are particularly blessed. Continue to enjoy and stay well. Much thanks-
I can’t believe I got to meet you and Your little pal last Saturday. It was true honour to meet you Mr.Forrest. I’m sorry if we interrupted any filming. You don’t get to see your hero’s very often. Been a long time subscriber and will continue to be. (We were the guys in the black suv and green suv) keep up the great work man! Love all your content

Man, all those different colors from up on high, spectacular. This place looked different from any that you've showed us thus far. Enjoyed your Bob Ross comment. Cool the Ephraim got some Rocko time too. Great video.
Amazing views.!I truly enjoy seeing places I’ve never even heard of never mind ever being able to see them. Thank you for this experience and taking us along with you and Rocko
When you drive the Forestry trunk road from Hinton to Kananaskis and south you can only dream of what is west of you. What an eye opener, thanks for a great video.
