I head out on a self designed route through Kluane National Park. Merchandise: foresty-forests-store.creator... Summit Map: drive.google.com/open?id=12GF... / strava / forestyforest
I just want to hug you and Rocko. You are such a great team and she sure keeps her eyes on you. Man’s best friend. Great companions. I think a sunny warm beach is in order. Joe Byeden what? 🤣🤣🤦🏻♀️. He can’t walk by himself🤣
Yet another great mix of beautiful cinematography, narration, quiet sounds, appropriate music, and of course the star of the show: Rocko! Great job, Foresty!
@@shandelebroyles1099 soil that looks like kitty litter but hard and solid 1 cm down. Usually happens after dirt gets saturated by a rainstorm then dried out in the cold. Crampons might bite into it but I don't always bring them when I don't expect snow.
Rocko is simply one of the most classic dogs I’ve never met 😂 just love her! I bet she’s a blast to have around. Glad to see you safe back at your van!! Nothing better than a video from Foresty!!!
I've been thinking about donating for some time, and so here it is. Thank you for so much for the incredible content you've shared with all of us. You've provided me with so much entertainment and an escape from the daily routine. Stay safe out there!
All your videos are awesome, but these last couple have been just so amazing. It’s such a joy to see the beauty of these wild places, to know they still exist, and to see the big smile on your face makes me smile too! It blows me away to see Rocko traveling all these miles with you! What a fantastic companion! Thank you for taking us along…so much joy!!!
Foresty, you remind me of the Energizer Bunny. No sooner are you finished with a 5 day grueling and epic adventure that most people would take weeks to recover from, and you are off again into the wilderness for 3 more days of trekking in the unbelievably gorgeous Yukon backcountry of Kluane National Park. It appears that Kluane is in your blood!!
I'm just going to pretend I didn't read ahead and see that my thoughts are already shared by others. Ahem. I never thought I could get so much enjoyment from watching someone else walk. Maybe it's because you have such great videography skills and personal insight. And a phenomenal hiking partner. Thank you (again) for bringing us along.
Oh my gosh!! How adorable!! Rocko was like "dad, it's no problem, just walk down this way, see..." and proceeds to come back up and watch your steps as you head down....She's such a sweet doggo.
You are so amazing. The ability to just take off hiking across a place like that…and film it in a way that is absolutely captivating (the scenery, the dialogue, the food, the dog!). It’s just incredible. My deep gratitude to you for offering these beautiful videos to us. Some of us have so little. But knowing that I can watch this makes me feel wealthy.
12:56 , look at the size of those BEAR tracks!!! 😮. I love Rocko! I am really glad that you two have each other. She is an amazing Little Dog! I think that it is time to buy her a ball of her very own! Thanks for taking us along! 👍👍👍
I don't know how you do it my man, I'd somehow manage to carry a defender shotgun if nothing else but to allow me to not swivel my head off as I walked in fear of being some grizzly's last supper before hibernation....augh!!!! Again another fantastic video ....I don't know what I will watch with the same enjoyment if and when you hang up you boots....!!!....???? @@forestyforest
The last several episodes have been truly amazing. Keep up the awesome work and always remember that when the weather gets bad in Canada, America is your friend to the south and we have Tillamook cheese!! I know you miss it! Stay safe!
ALWAYS a joy to hike along vicariously with you! If I were 20-30 years younger, I might try some of this stuff but there comes a day in everyone's life where you have to re-evaluate the bucket list and acknowledge that you're just never going to learn to play the violin. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful videos ... and Rocko!
Thanks for all the great Content Simon. Your adventures with your pup bring so much joy. You really have a special talent for making videos not just content but art. Stay safe out there! I look forward anticipating your next adventure!
This might very well be one of the best motivational videos I have ever enjoyed from a van life/camping/mountain climbing/trail trekking/home chef with a dog channel that has ever touched my soul. YES! i need to take every day for what I can get from it and leave worry and remorse behind. Thank you for your channel Mr. Forest
Really inspiring! Watching Rocko descend down to that canyon was more like watching a mountain goat than a dog... Can't wait to see what you two get up to next.
Love these last couple of videos! Your artistic side is coming out. R-dog is stealing the show, you might need to learn to sing or dance. Spectacular scenery and amazing terrain. Thanks for this.
WOW, you are absolutely blessing yourself AND us with these videos!!!! When the off-days come around, don't feel guilty labelling the videos as 'boring videos'.... we've been very fortunate.
I will say that the cinematography, editing and shot setups felt different and improved this time. I don’t know if Foresty is taking a class or just honing his craft, but it was amazing.
I went to Patreon to start up my support of you again (Rachel A.) and they were full! It would not allow anymore Patrons to support you! Congratulations!
Another amazing hike! I love how Rocko is hard at it all day but as soon as the blue sleeping bag hits the inflatable pad, she is right there to snuggle in.
Awesome adventure, as always. That giardia is not good bug to have, so glad you were able to walk it off. I do believe Rocko picked a most thoughtful companion to go galloping through the mountains with. May the sun shine for you as often as needed F.F. with enough rainy days to rest well.
The interlude with Rocco...the pic of her in the fluff and her quietly in the tent. I get the feels. I have a pet and we spend so much time together and it is a real bond. It is a different and deeper communication that takes place. The honesty and trueness of an animal companion is a blessing to have and enjoy.
I just can't believe the beautiful footage you take. You are so talented. Roko is a little star and she loves you to bits. Thank you for this incredible journey you have taken us on. Its really amazing.
Anything new/different in this one, production wise? I feel like the video quality/colorization jumped up another level. Looking great, thank you for another adventure!
What a lovely adventure! It sucks you got a little sick, and I'm so glad you didn't drink that orange water .. not safe. Take some time to rest, you deserve it!
Wonderful, as always. I am not sure why, but I started tearing up a bit as I watched you set up your tent. Sometimes simple acts can have a profound affect on us. It may have been just watching another human doing something and being somewhere that he truly loves. You are an extraordinary and unique person truly living in the moment. Thank you for sharing.
The amount of peace Foresty Forest and Rocko brings is....just amazing. No words. I can't imagine what it is like actually hiking out there. You sir are setting some major milestones and inspirational goals for the rest of us! Please be safe out there and trek on! ❤😊
I still remember the winter video in the minivan in a parking lot on Lake Ontario (Erie?) and thinking, "this guy is one of a kind". Living with no heat... and now this? Crazy few years watching this each week.
Good morning Foresty & double ear rubs to Rocco ! She is so taken in by Natures beauty, just like Dad ! The way she goes ahead & then comes back to make sure you’re coming along good. Love the way she hops into R & R mode. Like Steve would say hunker down time. You’re both very fortunate to have one another ! Another spectacular & amazingly beautiful adventure ! Thanks for bringing us along & keep smiling !
Another one “hit out of the park” as it were. You are the ying and Rocko is the yang, beautiful together. Rest well after this one and rebuild your strength. Thanks for your skill and hard work to make this video.
Best advertisement for tourism in Canada. I will definitely come by in the coming years to take my dog on one of these loops. Epic landscape and solitude.
