Latvia marks my 30th country! I would never have expected to visit Latvia. My friend and I were looking for cheap tickets and came across Riga. We were both excited and hesitant but did end up going. Riga was a city characterized by its traditional architecture, delicious gastronomy, and reasonable prices. We did catch some of the stunning nature from the plane. Watch this vlog to get some tips and tricks on what to do in Riga and see through our lens how much fun we had!

You should have gone to some museums! We have so many, starting from art and finishing with cars and medicine! We also have so many parks and other atractions outside the old town! And if Riga is too small for you we have countless other beautiful cities to see and the public transportation is very cheap ;)

A bit of feedback - when you do something or taste something, give your opinion about it. How was the Academy of Sciences? What do you think about the building? How was the Riga Black Balsam? I could see your facial expressions but nothing much else. For example, I'm from Riga and the Academy of Sciences is one of the buildings that I dislike. It's meant to show the "strength" of the USSR and it really doesn't blend well with the other architectures styles we have in the central part of Riga. :) Anyway, I enjoyed the video, thanks for visiting us :)

Helloo there! Thanks for the useful tips! Will definitely apply them in the future. I actually really loved the building of the Academy of Sciences. I really liked the colors and the shape. It really stood out to me. Regarding the Black Balsam: that was soooo strong! Not my fave, but it wasn’t bad at all. Thanks again! And looking forward to your opinion on the next vids! 😄

Thanks mate!! I truly appreciate it and thanks for stopping by! Prices in Riga were pretty affordable, especially in comparison to other European countries I've been to. Having dinner for 2 should be around €20 total or less. 8:42 The food was surprisingly super super tasteful. Lots of potatoes and roasted meats. Recommendation: head out to Lido - this was my favorite restaurant with delicious meals. Try their pink soup and the roasted potatoes for sure! I'm afraid I can't say much about hotels as we’ve booked the first best deal we have encountered. My fave spot would definitely be Lido (great food) and honestly, just walking through the oldtown: beautiful buildings and plenty to see. Also combine it with a rivercruise and have a cocktail or two 😉 Enjoy your trip!! Hope u will have lots of fun @mirkocutura9882

The panorama tickets can be bought in the lobby of the building. By buying a ticket, you’ll gain access to the deck with the panoramic view of the city

And by the way - an interesting fact - you talk about shooting right at the moment you're passing an Ukrainian flag.
