Greetings from Toronto! Mr. Barnett - I have been enjoying your presentations on Lockdown University immensely (your first one on the Jewish quarter led me to Shtisel - what a wonderful series, although I wonder what the haredi think of it!) and I was searching the internet to see if a few of your related articles (that you mentioned in your last presentation) could be found. Didn’t find your articles but I did find your living room tour! Wonderful, with such lovely narrative details! Looking forward to more viewing!

Wow! You have tiles from the Dome of the Rock? I like that you have lots of things but kept in such a tidy way. You have a little museum!

The multicolored Iznik tiles on the right of the tiles of your talk are spectacular as well!

Thank you. They are indeed. Made around 1580 in Iznik, their precise sister tiles embellish some fine places in Turkey such as the Circumcision Room in Topkapi Palace, the walls of the Rosten Pasha Mosque in Istanbul and the Sokulu Mehmet pasha mosque as well.

Julian. This is absolutely fantastic. I really admire your enthusiasm and passion. I first discovered you on your video regards the monuments at Bromford cemetery. I live in Cheltenham in Gloucestershire and as often as I can I visit London because like your good self the layers of history fascinate me. Thus far I have covered Highgate and Tower Hamlets and next am wishing to visit Kensal Green as it has the highest density of listed monuments in the country. I am most encouraged by your work and excellent presentation skills and all round ability to teach folks the histories of the places you visit. I adore your home and your collections of various things and I just want to thank you for doing what you do. You are great to listen too and I like also your educated way of presenting. Keep chasing down your dreams friend and keep up the good work. You really are fantastic at what you do. I have subscribed and eagerly await any new material you post. Kindest regards John Evans from Cheltenham.

Yes, more, please, sir, more! I loved your tour and am very curious about more of the objects in your room. I, too, am a maximalist; my home is groaning with goodies, although not of your quality. I wonder about the rectangular tile next to your blue tiles (reds, oranges, green foliate) and also what looks like a brass calendar/clock combination. And also, I’d give a lot to tour Sir John Soanes’ museum with you, please make that video if you can. Thanks for entertaining and educating me.
