Shame the stats don't bear you out, eh. Guess you didn't watch the match. Kudos scored probably the best goal of the match - at least, it was a match for Foden's first.
Nope, West Ham havent been in this position where our manager has conceded the most goals and topped the table of most losing games in Premier League history Dave, yeah, you are right!
And yet a top half finish none the less. Hmm, remind me what fans were complaining about when our defence was doing it's job in the last few years.... more attacking players please. And that's what we did, we purchased more attacking players, meanwhile hoping that the defensive purchases like Alvarez and Aguerd would improve the defence, only to find that the answer is no. Partly injury, partly just bedding into the Prem and the higher requirements, partly an ageing and slow veteran defenders and here we are. But it's folks like you that really get under my skin. You never ever give a balanced or reasoned view. You cherry-pick negative stats and use that to bash the manager, as if you could just wave a wand and fix these problems. It's football. And Moyes understands it a hell of a lot better than you shit-tinted spectacle chappies.
The truth about the GAS LIGHTING David Moyes, these are not my opinions as they are clear FACTS! 1. When Moyes took over the managers job in 2013 he sacked all of Fergie's multiple league & cup winning backroom staff because Moyes wanted complete control of all of the aspects of the club. 12 years later the club have still not recovered from his incompetence 2. Having been SACKED by United in 2014 Moyes moved onto Real Sociedad where he lasted a year with a win rate of 29% before being SACKED AGAIN 3. During Moyes' time at Real Sociedad he did not make any attempts to learn Spanish. Sometime later Moyes got a new rule introduced within the Scottish FA that all new Scottish Managers who were undertaking their required badges had to learn a second language even though HE NEVER DID! 4. In 2016 Moyes joined Sunderland where he got them RELEGATED after achieving an amazingly low 19% win rate. Just like Man Utd, Sunderland have never recovered from it! 5. Moyes agreed to take over the WHU manager job whilst Slaven Bilic was still in charge 2017 (Slimy or what) for Moyes to then go onto having a 29% win rate even though Bilic win rate was 38% 6. In 2018 WHU decided not to extend Moyes 1 year contract so they brought onboard the 10 yes TEN managerial trophy winning Pelegrini as their new manager. The board had a knee jerk reaction in sacking him 18 months later in 2019 when WHU were in the relegation zone even though there was a good chance that he would have secured Prem League safety had he been allowed to carry on. 7. The WHU board decided to bring back David Moyes who previously had a 29% win rate to replace Pelegrini who had a win rate of 38% (the same as Bilic) 8. Moyes steadied the ship over the next 4 seasons whilst "AS HE LIKES TO TELL EVERYONE" that "HE" won them their first cup in 40 years ... and he did ... but look at the FACTS ... as the WHU had given Moyes over £500m worth of talent over the past 4 years. The really amazing fact is that this sum of money was MORE than ALL OF the teams that WHU played in that European competition COMBINED!!! 9. Moyes has an amazingly concerning poor history of hand picking new players himself that cost the club tens of millions of pounds to then play them out of position. When it all goes wrong as it commonly does, Moyes then gives the players the cold shoulder and pushes them out of the door at a major financial loss as he did with Haller, Scamacca, Benrahma, Vlasic & Cornet to name a few 10. WHU has one of the best academies in world football at the moment but Moyes simply will not play these young players even in cup competitions against lesser teams like Bristol City who funny enough beat WHU because our team was simply tied because of the lack of player rotation 11. Considering the £500m that Moyes has wasted over the 4 years, he is leaving the club with the smallest and OLDEST squad in the Prem League. So there you go, just a few FACTS about the useless snake oil salesman David Moyes who for some really weird reason has the football media in his pocket as they constantly patronise the WHU fans with ignorant statements like "Be careful what you wish for" as these clowns don't pay to watch the narcissistic one trick negative pony David Moyes terrible so called football
@@512Squared The penny has just dropped ... the @512Squard account is owned by David Moyes as we all know that the narcissistic old fool lives in his own fantasy world ... or then again maybe the account is owned by a weak minded, easily influenced Brexit voter .... 🤣🤣🤣🤡 bless
@@EinPali Is that you David or is it one of his PR team that constantly gaslights the clown's achievements as these comments clearly do not come from a WHU fan 🤣🤣🤣 .... respect to the true West Ham legends like Greenwood & Lyall and Fu@K OFF Moyes you chancer
a football person just concentrating on football, not cheats, how refreshing, well done Moyes for seeing it for what it is which is a superb achievement
Fans are not the best judge of how good a manager is. I've learned that being a West Ham fan. I know what has been going on over the last four years, how Moyes was received from his very first appointment and through the successful two years of his second spell... then last year, it was, hey, if it he wins us a European Cup, I'd take one season of poor form. But then, later, it's another excuse... it's the low defensive block, it's the lack of possession etc... always something they are not happy with, and looking over the fence at e.g. Brighton, thinking, hey, that could be us. But Brighton finished below us every year except last year, and they don't have a European Cup either. And when they talk about Moyes and his management, most fans are utterly clueless. They quote figures spent without bothering to do one bit of real research on how those figures play out, on a per-player purchase fee, wages, replacement for previous players etc. Over the course of his tenure, Moyes average spend per player is actually £20 million, and with that, he's been fighting among the European places or winning a European Cup. The low-block stuff... well, we average 41% possession. We've scored some absolutely fabulous goals with some great attacking play. You can't do that when you are constantly in a low block. Without question we have had some issues at the back. That's partly injuries, partly ageing players, partly a lack of pace, partly losing a player of the quality of Rice and having to bed in a replacement in the shape of Alvarez, who definitely has potential. But in the old days, when fans actually understood football, they'd know the manager knows that too and would be doing something about it, recruiting and renewing the squad. But no, the fans just dream in an unrealistic way these days. All that talk about the good old days... it's nonsense. It's really genuine nonsense. I remember the fans being generally fed up, and if it wasn't Sullivan and Gold, it was Terry Brown, and how he was killing the club. Or the manager... because in the end, regardless of how we play, unless we are winning a majority of matches, the fans are not happy whatever the style of play. In those so-called golden years, these were some of our league results... 16th, 12th, 14th, 12th, 16th, 12th, 17th, 20th, 14th, 18th, 13th, 18th, 17th, 20th (relegated), 16th, 15th, 16th , 19th (relegated). I just really wonder how the fans would react today to results like that under Greenwood and Lyall. I don't have to wonder though, I know... they'd be calling for their heads. Cos most fans are actually clueless about football. All they understand is the score-line and the ball going in the net. That's it. I'm not tired of Moyes. I'm tired of the lack of respect shown by fans. One consolation though is that I know it isn't just West Ham fans. :D I've seen it in Arsenal and Tottenham forums too. :)
Why is it incredible when you have the best and highest paid manager in the world? Owned by one of the richest companies/ owners in the world?and possess some of the best players in the world with the highest wage bill in the world possibly? Oh and they possess TWO yes two international teams, rocket science this is not,its unbelievably boring as it is no longer competetive sport, our league is now the equivalent of the joke Scottish league.
They'll use video's like this in psychology classes on acute narcissism. He's put the 'I don't care & delusional' mask on for this interview. It's a part of a series of masks ranging from spiteful, aggressive & paranoid, totally delusional to victim with today's mask being the totally delusional one. I notice Brighton are looking at the Ipswich manager who has no prem experience instead of this mug who has massive amounts of prem experience. Good riddance from my club.
He got one thing right he's a lucky manager... and hiw well we've done over the four years... well we were in a relegation battle last season... and weve been awful since xmas.. we'vemade progress 2 steps forward 1 back the squad he's left is very thin and old needs rebuilding.. cheers Dave but its not all been great.
You know what I am going to save this video and come on here end of next season and reply to your comment. West Ham will improve next season - if Moyes in charge would be relegated. We have 74 goals conceded and have won only 4 games in 2024. Next season will be different.
Thanks MrBeanyman. Finally David looks relaxed and happy. I wish him all the best. Kudus scored the goal of the season today. Pep’s face was a picture. Congrats Man City. Onwards to the euros, Foden to win the golden boot.
How could you not like David Moyes ,shows great respect, and I think he a very good manager, who has not always got the respect he deserves, good luck in whatever you do,and lastly he is one good person and never says a bad thing about anyone
@@rogercooke4589 Yes, he is a good manager. But it's quite possible that the fans have made him into a poisoned chalice. That's the irony in what you are implying. But who knows... I wouldn't be surprised if a decent club came in for him. Also, you display the usual West Ham fan blinkers as well as your shit-tinted spectacles. The squad and club rank about 8-9th in the Prem over recent season based on resources, squad value etc, and he was getting us to perform above that level. Yes, there are other stats that show we are a well-run club that are benefiting from being in the new Stadium, but it will be a few more seasons yet before that can be directed more into the playing squad. Sullivan, Brady et al have done a great job of making the club solvent and well run. Second only to Brighton, relative to the size of the club, but probably better than Brighton when you realise we were £100 million in debt a few years ago. But we are miles behind the top 6. That's how it is in the Prem. Those clubs have massive global fan bases. West Ham not so much.
He wasn’t saying it was an achievement he was saying it wasn’t just my management but i was also lucky to have a player come through that ended up being a record signing thats why he’s going on about being lucky after.
