Houston - K-Dubb was born in the Southwest section of Houston in a specific part known as Alief. He became a member of the 4 Line Bounty Hunters in Houston and talks about his life in and out of juvenile hall and prison.
We met up with K-Dubb on Spice Lane just west of the Sam Houston beltway.

Houston gangs that are homegrown are SW Cholos and Houstone, mexican gangs. There is MS-13 that is legit for central Americans. All other bloods and crips are mixed between just a name for guys that rock together but some were set up by dudes that moved from LA to Houston where they had relatives. I grew up in Alief and Missouri City in the 80s to early 90s and BD was legit and super active and no doubt had Chicago connections. They actually recruited in middle schools. Then you had clicks in Houston that are more dangerous than gangs. Ex: yellowstone boys, murder mob, 103. 103 is probably the most brutal click in Houston. They are from 3rd Ward. They killed a student from Lamar high school on his lunch break last week in broad daylight on a busy street and put 15 bullets in the kid. Gangs are wicked and are really for people that lack knowledge of self. But that's a whole nother topic.

I’m from St Louis, MO. I spent some summers in Inglewood CA in the 80s. I lived right outside of Alief for the last few years. Gang Banging in Houston is NOTHING like the way it is done in LA county. NOTHING. The ‘turf’ he keeps speaking of is not a turf like you would think of in LA- meaning one location with physical boundaries etc. When he say turf he talking about individual people who claim his gang. So you might live anywhere in Houston and claim a certain gang but it’s not so much an actual central location. You might have a couple blocks where you and your friends live and y’all claim the same gang but at that same physical location you might have a whole group of other cats who claim something totally different. LA don’t function like that. And oh yeah- 59 Bounty Hunter is some shit out of town niggas picked up from MIS-hearing Lil Stretch on Banging on Wax. He was saying 5 Line and niggas thought he was saying 5-9 and they just ran with it.

4 Line BH = No Kutts vs 59 BH = Pushes tha 5. I appreciate this interview because 4 Line is one of tha few hoods in Houston that pushes intended blood politics. I wish SG's would interview Eastside Houston hoods. Most of tha sets there push hoods named after local shit (Pleasantville Piru, E/S BLVD Bloods, Murderline Bloods to name a few) and they tend to actually have rivalries with rival gangs versus everybody getting along.
