I can understand you feel that way but this is such an exhausting piece of work that it is a wise decision to be energy-efficient. You can watch them working with their minds before working with their bodies and that's a wise thing to do in the early stages of practice.
@@Macvriendin and we are not talking about professional dancers. when you dance, having fun is essential. I'm not saying the girl in black is not having fun, she just has a diferent way of learning stuff. I, myself am visual. And from her deportment in this video i can tell she probably knows this coreography. They all seem interested in the coaching, and it shows. They are all getting the tips and the coach got a pretty decent result.
Elles font ce qu'on appelle "marquer la danse" c'est tu ne te donne pas à fond c'est pour apprendre sans forcer avant de souffrir en se donnant à fond (je sais pas si c'est bien expliqué mais bon)
12:12 "I'm saying that you can PULL!" I love the dancer's reaction--it's been years since I did ballet but I remember being told more than once that you *never* pull. She looks so happy.
Hi there, you can watch one of the shows here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-R1W1o3ZET-E.html We have two other Swan Lake shows in our channel. You can see the most recent with some principal dancers, and of course our students.
I live in a small town and our only local ballet teacher has 5 students. So since I’m a late beginner, I was worried that since it’s such a small town and literally everything here is low quality (restaurants, shops, etc) I was anxious she wouldn’t be the kind of teacher I would need. Upon watching this video, I’m seeing so many similarities between this teacher and the one I have, so now I know that she’s a good teacher (based on everyone’s good opinion on the instructor in this video) so thankful to God for giving me this opportunity to dance 😭🙏❤️
I see that several people commend the teacher. She seems to be speaking very quickly though and I'm not sure the students always understand her. One of the students seems to be struggling and just stands there smiling and the teacher doesn't correct her. Only one student consistently turns her head - again no correction. I realize this is only the first day and maybe the teacher just wants to get the group through all the steps and will fill in the corrections later. I think the students are trying very hard and I agree that the small girl all the way to the left really nails it. She turns her head too! I give these dancers a lot of credit. They are working really hard at a difficult dance.
I love that the dancers are concentrating on different parts of the piece! The right end seems to have the head movements down-did she memorize those first? And the one next to her never moves her head but appears farther along with her feet. It’s all fascinating. Such dedication.
Here is a very accurate review wow how on earth did they keep up I slowed down to 4 counts for 1 of full time travel? I can do the bourre i tried it for the first time couldnt get off demi point and tried the one leg beat dont know the french term i could only go from the Bourre into the beat though they do an extra count going down and up in between well done that is soo hard
People at the comments probably didn't even do ballet and they're saying that the girls weren't trying hard lol they're doing better than you for sure, and that's their first day of pratice
I honestly felt bad for the girl in the black on the left... She seemed the only one taking it really seriously and the others just didnt seem as prepared, like I would be frustrated tbh. She did great!!
If only those girls ( mostly the 3 ) had a 1/4 of the energy of the teacher...( the girl in black seems to be more together even in her outfit 😳) ) seems like the teacher is doing ALL the work ....
I think the teacher is on the downbeat instead of the upbeat, when teaching these students the choreography of this iconic variation. She is BEHIND the music., it seems to me. Too bad.
