Oh, thank you so much again for saying so!! 😭😭😭 So nice of you! 😊😊 Sure, I can share how to plan an African trip. Well, yes, planning a DIY Africa trip can be challenging. Typically, we prefer staying at a hotel near the main airport, like the Four Points for 1 or 2 nights before and after our safari lodge stays. This ensures we don't miss any important flights back home or to the next destination. It was exciting to see that Marriott has finally opened a safari lodge (excluding Protea by Marriott Lusaka Safari Lodge). with more to come in the future. Booking safari flights online is easier after the pandemic, so you can plan an Africa trip easier. Book the hotel using Bonvoy points and book the flights online, and tell the lodge about your flight information. Oh, by the way, I take all kinds of medicine. Pain relief, diarrhea, and malaria (JW said we didn't have to worry about malaria, but I took some anyway), etc... Also, Kenya won't accept the arrival visa anymore, so be careful. We got an E-visa, but we noticed there was a new visa(?) system, ETA, to enter Kenya starting January 2024, so it was confusing. And usually African people prefer newer bills as cash tips, like issued after 2017? But JW was OK with older bills. I hope you make a great trip plan for you and your family..
