Seeing this movie as a kid was the first time I ever heard about Quadrophenia. I had to track the movie down just to get the reference and I'm glad I did because it's one of the best ever. Amazing album too.
Angela is in a bathrobe during the scene so there was probably some kind of debauchery going on right before Ted showed up. Those Hollywood types like to watch.
