I generally agree. I have had one barrel strength pick that was kinda not up to snuff but every other one has been crazy good.

4🌹 SB was my first go to bourbon. Then I joined FB groups and learned about SP’s. Crazy enough, it was my first find when I started hunting. I got the last one and a guy asked me about it while walking to checkout, I knew nothing about them. He was cool, he gave me a whole run down of the recipes. I got OESQ. He was looking for OESO. My collection has grown and I got some nice bottles, but that 4🌹 holds a special place for me. Great pick up! Which recipe did you get?

I used to hate whiskey then it was ok. Then boring. But i only ever had small batch..... Single barrel whiskey especially barrel proof changed the game and changed my life. Im about to enjoy the last double shot of my single barrel barrel proof jack Daniels. Its my favorite but now I wanna try both of these

just went and bought a bottle of four roses single barrel in nyc for $57.99. the barrel strength was $250. so my question is is it 4 times the price good?

This totally depends on availability. I can look for the single barrel four roses that are from the floors I prefer. The Barrel proof I’ve never seen. So for me it’s easy. I’m sure it is fantastic but if I can’t find it then it’s not something I’m looking for. Enjoy.

Single Barrel is an incredible bargain. Small Batch doesn't drink hot to me but no Four Roses bourbons do. My favorite is Single Barrel haven't had Single Barrel Cask Strength.

Nope. Shouldnt be that much.
