What I’d give to hear that sun rise set. But I suppose what goes on at Glastonbury stays at Glastonbury. I seriously need to go back. It’s 20years and the memories need refreshing.
Saw him last night at Boardmasters main tent - 1.5hrs of sheer perfection - speechless (just like he was) My pals early to drive home (6 hrs) but I stayed till he played - so glad I did.
Omg, the drops, the layers, total crowd pleaser and Glasto gave him it back, plenty of energy there😀 now where's my 18inch Alpine bass bin from 1990...
This is a grower. Really unique. First listen I thought it was quite nice and original. 10th listen and I’m reaching for the lasers. What a classy piece of work.
Yeah, I'm with you on that. Even through the course of the first listen I had mixed feelings about it. It fades and flourishes in just the right places to keep you tuned in, but ultimately it pays off. Then you throw it back to start and begin again and it gets better and better.
This was my favourite set of the year and my favourite tune of it! He manages to create music that's equally warm and soothing as it is banging and euphoric. x
was going to watch Foals & changed our minds last min to go to see Four Tet, what a decision, incredible set, and this tune was sublime, i kept asking myself all weekend what the hell was that tune!! thanks BBC
I just heard this yesterday (and him) for the first time. I've been into various techno/EDM stuff but this track is really odd, never heard this style before. It's really likeable! Listening on repeat 😄
What an artist. Britain really does produce some talent. I'm also loving other various UK electronica and experimental based acts like Aphex Twin, Burial, Autechre, Unkle, Massive Attack, Forest Swords, Allflaws
Best sound mix/set I've seen in 15 Glastonbury's. Felt like I had a set of headphones on. The bassssss left internal damage hah... (not quite captured on this feed).
I walked past the park stage from a distance and caught the end of this set. Was totally blown away and drawn in by this closer and I had to find out what it was. Just gutted I missed out on the full set!
This track ....by a long way so far, well, best track I have ever heard. I started with Sloop John B from the Beach Boys, onto Kraftwerk - Autobahn, maybe Tubeway Army - Are Friends Electric, next Crown Heights Affair - Galaxy of Love....then clubbed it ( drug free ) in Evissa for years, then recently just settling with Flip and Phill - Shimmy...all for my funeral music. Will re-written, and if they all want to get anything then this is to be played 8 times at my wake !...I'm only 68 and now a one-legged clubber....but I'm still such in my Spaz Chariot (!).....Brilliance. shear Brilliance and 8 is my lucky number..
Update...32 play hours, almost got the lyrics now...just 12,000 hours more and I'll be there.....brought in 4 extra subs, 3 injunctions from neighbors, 1 structural engineer on his way...just off to get more Stella....this song is a proper sound sound !..be like they'll be wresting me from a Waco Siege (? ).. .. and I've raised my lucky number to 88 - just for my funeral attendees..
Pretty sure this was live, so it was edited on the fly! One person has like 10+ monitors of every camera angle and switches each shot live when they see fit, pretty amazing stuff
