Four Tet is one of the longest standing, currently active electronic producers, with the project’s beginnings dating back to 1997. He has cemented himself among the likes of legendary IDM pioneers such as Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, and Boards of Canada. The Four Tet project was birthed at a time when music technology was rapidly evolving, and Four Tet was right at the forefront of the evolution, using the technology to craft music with methods that were relatively unexplored. Taking this fresh approach allowed him to concoct a signature sound that was instantly recognizable, and he has been able to evolve that sound, while still preserving its core essence, for over 25 years. After collaborations with Skrillex and Fred Again in recent years, the Four Tet project now has more eyes and ears on it than ever.
