Chafing between my thighs has been a problem ever since I was a baby. No joke. I was literally born with thick legs. Lacane cream (which is Monistat in the US) has been a life saver.
Thank you for all your videos, Dr. Dray. I never wore sunscreen throughout my 20s (I know, horror). But as I turn 30, I am determined to finally take care of my skin and find a sunscreen that works for me. Your videos have truly been SUCH a help--especially the ones on sunscreen reviews, hyperpigmentation, and sebaceous filaments. Thank you for all your content!
The thumbnails😄 I can’t help but smile! Florida heat + sweaty skin= chaffing somewhere. Thank you for this video Dr.Dray! Have a great safe day everyone!
Glycopyrrolate is also used for patients with excessive secretions. In my close to 20 years as a healthcare provider (NP), I did not know it’s also used in Dermatology. Wow !!! Good content as always. Thank you!!!
Hi Dr Dray :) just wanted to express some gratitude for your videos ! Here in France we’ve been confined for a good 5 weeks now, 3 more to go and watching your videos is both entertaining and instructional in these dark times. Keep it up ! Hope your mom is doing great ! 👍🏼
Great tips 🙏 I get chafing under the breasts in summer it's, awful compounded by working in an un air-conditioned very hot office I can say I am loving the WFH because even though its not full summer the office is usually 10 degrees hotter than outside and there is no shower facilities I have often come home in tears so WFH at the moment is a blessing 🙏
What good timing. When I went out to work, I would shower everyday which I assumed led by to my dry skin ( before learning from you about trapping the water with cerave). Now sheltering at home these past 5 weeks, my uniform has been sweatshirts and leggings, often worn several days in a row, without bathing my body ( but religious about facial sunscreen thanks to you). I have since had rashes and even skin breakdown in my neck and groin, which I never had before. This video was very educational and helpful. Of course it’s like diaper rash! Will bathe, change to fresh loose pants daily and get the diaper cream. I look forward to watching you every night. You are doing a great service.
I suffered severely from hyperhydrosis and chafing appeared as a result of that. Since I have surpassed menopause almost all annoying and irritating problems have vanished! I feel so relieved...
Hi Dr. Dray, I'm in my 60s, and sometimes have mild discomfort from low level sweating due to menopause. I find that a light dusting of Johnson and Johnson pure cornstarch baby powder gives long lasting comfort. The powder is silky smooth and only lightly scented. If they made an unscented version, I would use it. Thanks for another great video...love your sassy modeling face and poses!
I have these lacy garter like things called bandelettes that you wear on your thighs under dresses and they are LIFE CHANGING for us thick ladies! Plus they feel like a sexy accessory
This was a big problem for me. I only like to wear dresses+living in Texas. Got myself a pair of thigh bands (bandelettes brand), they actually work great, stay in place and don't squeeze.
Hello Everyone I think Dr Dray is watching me when I am in front of a huge jumbo Fan that I keep all year around... my 40DDD or like some called the “gift” is a curse for me... I wish I can wake up with little lemons instead. I also use some of the Cerave ointment or at times baby Unscented power. Everyone let’s stay in so we can be out by this Summer!!!
I have some big "gifts" as well and I sweat so much in the underboob area, it is so embarrassing. The chafing is horrible as well, I never go without a bra in summer anymore even when I'm just lazing around at home. I'm glad to see there's others out there and am now seriously considering buying a big fan...
Thank you, Dr. Dray!! You are a wealth of knowledge and always know exactly what to do. How are you doing? How is your Mom? Sending prayers and good vibes for you both everyday. xx Vicki
Totally agree with moisture wicking fabrics. I was buying cotton because its more 'natural" and compared to the synthetic fabrics, it's much worse friction and dampness wise.
Chafing is a much better word to use than chub rub because the word chub rub can simply cause loss of appetite. Always helping others and planting some good seeds. You look great Dr. Farmer Dray!👍🏻⭐️☕️❤️
Can you do a whole video on clothing and shoe tips to have a healthy clean balanced body! Including underwear! Should you wear them when you sleep? What types of fabrics are good for what clothing? What materials are good for shoes? I would LOVE an in depth video on these things!
Hi Jackie! Happy Wednesday!! I hope you had a lovely day. I had a good day. Busy as always. We had a baby emu in today!!!! So cute. It was sunny but pretty chilly and windy here. I'm ready to get cozy and make some tea. I'd love for you to join me, sweet friend. Hope you have a relaxing evening. Talk to you tomorrow! Sweet dreams!! 😴💤😴💖
Quick question, i'm curious to know why gynecologists recommand wearing cotton underwear and no synthetic fabrics to avoid humidity and dermatologists recommand de opposite?
Fish N Clips There are two ways fabrics can help that I know of. Allowing air through, and wicking moisture. Not all synthetics wick moisture. Some of them just trap it against the skin. Cotton is great for allowing air to reach the genitals, but not great for wicking sweat. Allowing the genitals to get some air every once in a while is good for the skin in that area, but if you’re working out and you sweat a lot from your crotch, moisture wicking synthetic fabric might be better for that activity.
So glad you answered the chafing question! I got the diaper cream after watching your face mask video, and although I think it was making me break out (or maybe it was the mask? 🤔), I am definitely going to try that for thigh chafing. It’s worked great on my kids’ diaper rashes and is helping when my Fitbit watch band gives me a weird rashy thing.
If I go running I always put vaseline on my inner legs, it really helps, just stains my boxer shorts but I'd rather that than the agony I get from chafing
Man.. I’m a scaffolder working in these heat waves.. I have chafing daily.. only getting worse and worse.. can’t stop the sweating, can’t stay dry with the heat and the physical work…
Sports bra and bralette elastic chafing is horrible. You’re supposed to be comfortable when wearing these types of undergarments but I just get a bright red mark around my body. It’s worst during the warmer months.
I love the diaper rash cream idea..BUT my question to you is this...will the diaper rash cream rub in completely so that it will not be wet or tacky? My experience with diaper rash cream is it is so thick and paste like that it never rubs into the skin, and I cannot imagine that would be comfortable? Thank you as always for all of your insight, it truly has helped a lot.
Hi Doctor, I have a question about the products we use to wash our hands. What does it take to get our hands clean, what's necessary, and what's not as far as the types of soaps we use. And can we use soap-free cleansers for hand washing? I have been using some cleansers I try that I don't really care for, but that are okay on my hands. Do they do the job? Also, I hope your mom is doing well. Maybe you could have a video of the two of you chatting back and forth? Just a thought, but we miss her!
Daughters doctor told her to use deodorant for under her stomach hang over ( 4 c sections). All along the crease. No problems of chafing/yeast since using it.
Manbutter from Drymen products was literally created with this in mind honestly people have been saying deodorants and body glides Vaseline and whatever but the deodorants and glides tend to cause rashes and also aren’t even healthy for your skin, and Vaseline is a byproduct from oil rigs as left over gunk they dig out to use it as a skin protectant (Bruh) Manbutter is a naturally anti bacterial skin protectant with only 6 readable ingredients including raw and organic Shea and coco butter, organic virgin coconut oil, cold pressed organic castor oil, organic beeswax and NON MICRONIZED zinc oxide (made for all mankind)
The one thing that works best for me for thigh chaffing is wearing a comfortable pair of cotton biker shorts, or special anti-chaffing underwear. Intimissimi, the Italian brand, makes some really comfy underwear like this.
@@DrDrayzday Thank You Sooo Much!! I Hope You Are Have a Super Lovely Day Gorgeous Lady!! You're Just Precious To me!! Sending Much Love Always!! xoxoXO!
Love love love your content ❤️thank you so much for sharing so much valuable information with us. Doctor I have a request please consider making a video on Photo Allergy skin care.
Could you PLEASE do a review / overview of the CLN skincare brand ? They’re having bundle promos online so I purchased their body washes & facial moisturizer. The body wash has done WONDERS for my acne & psoriasis on my body.
Afternoon Dr! Love your content that you bring to us, thank you! I sometimes get a “ wet” odorous rash in groin area, when it gets “ out of hand”, dr prescribes lotrisome cream, what can I do to stop it from getting to that point? Anti perspirant? Powder? Blessings from NYC😘😷 Hope your Mom is doing well 💗
Dr. Dray off topic, how do you feel about the rest of the products from Nécessaire ? Their fragrance free wash and lotion? Can those be used on the face?
my problem areas are armpit and crotch so sad I can't fan them while I'm out 😂 but seriously I dream to have a better looking armpit as I pluck the hair 😣
Monistat chafing gel is great for preventing chafing anywhere on the body. I originally bought a tube to use as a makeup primer but prefer to use it where I need to prevent uncomfortable chafing. It works great!
Do you feel it is safe for women to use talcum powder in the inner thigh area? There was a pretty highly publicized lawsuit won against Johnson&Johnson concerning talc and ovarian cancer, but according to “The Beauty Brains” risk wasn’t really supported scientifically. Interested to hear if you feel the science supports talc as a safe ingredient for women.
Hey Dr Dray hope you are safe and keeping healthy I just realised while I was looking at my notifications I found out I accidently said that I have your products I know you don't have any products I must of meant the products you reccomended :) but I definitely have some of those ! and I agree they work really well ! and also Dr Dray could you make a video about white things getting in your hair I do not know what they are but I see them alot in my hair they are like tiny white specs that is the best i can describe them :) Have a great week and don't forget about your sunscreens and subscribeeee lol I like that catch phrase that you do It also reminds me to put sunscreen on !
Happy Wednesday Dr Dray and everyone. You have the best videos and content around I am always telling people about you and your channel. Love to mom and sweetie Tybee 🤩😍Have a wonderful day 🤗🤗🤗
Completely different from the video subject but what are your opinion on vitamin C in powder form that can be mixed with serums or moisturizers ? Thanks 😊
This will be a good topic to hear you out on with skirt weather coming up here. Off topic Question for you. Do you think it necessary to get the name brand Rogaine as opposed the the Walmart Equate (Generic) brand of 5% minoxidil? Does the “you get what you pay for” saying apply?
star Droplet Better post a direct link to the product/inci list. There are always a lot of people asking questions, in the comment section, let’s at least make it easy for her, to have a look at the product. 🙂
