2 hours of work to pull out trailer with 2 RZR'S from the sand. A good video so you can see that too much air does not work in the sand. ford che y chevrolet
I don’t think razors weigh that much is just the weigh of the trailer and the axles on the trialer so bar back the weight of both combined on sand it’s hard
the_masta well it’d take mostly all the weight off the rear axel of the truck and maybe he’d have a chance of making more than 15ft without sinking. It’s a long ass trailer
Seems like too much tongue weight on tow vehicle...need to distribute the weight on the trailer to take some weight off the back of the truck...will bring the front down for more traction.
@@Fordgroup00 because you dont need a license Haha I've seen a few with alot of tongue weight to where it almost looks like a v Haha idiots Another I saw on my way to work some guy with a small empty trailer that was wrapped facing the opposite way of traffic, luckily there wasnt to many cars at that time
Thai Nguyen I didn’t see your comment when I posted mine lol learned the hard way when I was 17. Ball came in through the back windshield, through the front windshield and hit my friend in the chest. He got a broken clavicle and a large gash. Lucky the windshield and back window took some of the fire off the speed
So nobody thought to hook that beast up in the background of the shot @0:36? Woulda saved about all the time it took for that to become successful... bet that guy is just chilling laughing at all of these clowns.
Dude with the kinetic rope almost got stuck himself You dont just floor it with that rope, you go forward then stop and it uses your momentum Then he just has the loop over the tow hitch ball Haha
I wonder what would happen if they had a tire gauge and could find 12 psi. This would have been a short video, I loved the struggle Man against the "Sand"
There are a lot of vehicles to pull one vehicle out of the sand, I think the owner could have gotten himself out if he had some sense to him, but from the sound of these dudes they were a bunch of jack-asses. But I learn what NOT to do from these videos every single time.
What I've learned in life when it comes to trucks... "if your dad liked chevy then you grew up to like Chevy. If your dad likes ford then you more then likely grew up to like ford. If your dad likes dodge you probably grew up with two dads."
I don't know a whole lot about towing or recovery but I know enough not to have virtually all the weight forward of the trailer axel and also not to use a tow ball as a recovery point. Lots of bad decisions made here.
@@kpd174 check your local hispanic chamber of commerce you will be surprise how many MEXICANS have their own bussines any body can afford those toys in monthly payments like me 😬
100k $ plus in vehicles, non stretching tow strap pulling next to kinetic rope, wrapped around tow balls, pizza cutter tires...like an exhibition on how not to tow things.
Ok I know this was a comedy video and it was pretty funny. If it was serious they would have unloaded the Razors and driven them to firmer ground then easily pulled the truck out with the empty trailer. Even if both razors were broke they could still be manhandled off and on... come on guys no body thought of that???????????
Less then half the time it would have took if only they all aired down. My GAWD!!! I've seen cars (aired down) drive inbetween the camp site. No problems
Free help is nice but it is always someone who over estimates the capabilities of their truck under certain conditions. Bringing the a trailer like that is just stupid and just not needed. Taking the ATVs off the trailer tires airing down all tires is what I would do. No I would drive by saying, those rims look awesome.
This recovery had me scared the whole time that one of those tow balls was gonna snap off and kill the driver... This is not a hard pull.. I've pulled the same setup through softer deeper sand closer to the entrance with just my Chevy 1500.. it's all in the setup, tire psi and using the right gears... The truck pulling the trailer should've been at 15 to 20psi (lower is ideal, but with weight pushing down on the back, you want to be careful going lower than 20)... He needs to put it in 4wd low and lock it into second gear... The truck doing the pulling needs to connect to a safe point on his truck first, then he needs to use a straddle (such as a tree saver or a freedom rope cheater rope) to connect to both front recovery points, then connect 2 or even 3 kinetic ropes in series and use all that extra stretch to your advantage... The pulling truck should also be at 12psi in the front and 10psi in the back.. and also locked into 4wd low 2nd gear.. with the extra stretch of the 2 or 3 ropes, he would've popped right out... And it would've also allowed the pulling truck to reach the hard pack for better traction.
I had to pull my 9 ton equipment trl out from the back so i could use it this winter so i cleared a nice path from the snow. The previous year or two i didnt plow. My tractor was giving me fits pulling it through the snow. Duallies and sand or snow dont mix. For what he is hauling he should pull the inside tires off and leave them home
Lower tire pressure. Remove RZRs from Trailer If that doesn't work, unhitch the trailer. Dig out wheels of the trailer and create a ramp to ease getting it out. Take aired down truck and reattach trailer. Pull out. Two hours could have been shortened to 15 minutes. Why the fuck do people try and pull out everything FULLY LOADED. Things that will help next time would be: bringing planks of wood or a maxtrax type product to put your tires on. A tire pressure gauge so you know what you're airing down to. Don't floor it until you get momentum (unless you like digging) There are a bunch of other things wrong with all this but.. jesus christ. I pull a 26' cargo trailer behind a 34' motorhome and don't get stuck as long as I air down and don't be a dumbass. That said, whenever I see a HD truck towing and I see a 6+ inch lift, 20"+ wheels and low profile tires on it I know the person generally has no idea what they're doing in the first place. Anyone can go buy a truck and toys, it's knowing how to use those things that separates the men from the boys.
why not move the razors back on the trailer so the weight is more over the trailer axles, notice all the weight just on the rear axle. Add up half the truck weight, half the trailer weight plus all the weight of the razors because they are to far forward on the trailer. now put all that weight on the contact patch of the rear tires, of course it is going to sink in the soft sand. common sense.
Always love it when the last resort should be the First Thing you do when you approach SAND , they'll learn , maybe ? Should just go to the Mall when it reopens!
Should of unloaded the razors off the trailer to get out of the sand then loaded once on hard pack. Lol. Would of saved hours of time and tons of diesel
Could’ve got the Ram 3500 to pull it out and saved alot of time. Or better yet took the sxs off the trailer and drove truck and trailer to solid ground
Should of loaded one rzrs towards the back instead of putting all the weight on the front. Guess nobody knows what distributing the weight is. Even if I wasn’t in sand,if that was all I was hauling I’d put it back, less weight directly on the truck.
Doesn’t look like there is much tire to air down. Meaning what’s with everyone running these all rim and little side wall of a tire on a 4x4. I truly don’t understand the concept. I guess it’s the looks but I like a lot of tire and little wheel. Non the less Even the diesel and trailer that was stuck is a real nice set up. Looks like a fun time out there. I have to wait at least until October to even touch glamis or Gordon’s well. 😔 happy riding guys and be safe!
I can go anywhere I have four wheel drive. It's called four wheel drive in low, in first gear, even my wife knows that, it also helps if you know how to drive & if you know how to load a trailer. Then you will not have as many problems.
