I hate that they made the new men are from mars music video just to NEVER play it live. Abandon ship, catastrophe, wrecked em, bada bing, if he’s here who’s running hell, and maniac are all THE essential ROD songs imo. To be fair, I guess enemy of the world gets it even worse because this body pays the bills, nineteen with neck tatz, and Paul revere’s midnight ride are amongst their all time greatest songs but instead we’ll hear wasting time and heroes for the 1000th time. Wish this band wasn’t worried about playing for the crowd because they could play anything in their arsenal and amass a crowd
Fys is better than everyone that came before them and everyone that’s come after in the realm of pop punk. Only other albums that make me feel like they care as much about what they’re playing as what we’re hearing is the band Half Hearted Hero. If you’ve never heard of them, you should check out the song Periphery off of the EP Running Water. Insane riffs, insane tempo, poetic lyrics that aren’t corny as hell, and just amazing vibes and musicianship in general. My dream gig would be half hearted hero, with the punches, and boys night out supporting co-headliners four year strong and coheed and cambria
Omfg. I fucking love this band so much. I have no words. Thanks 4 all the great music thru the years, gents! Anyone know what head Dan is using in this?
As a sound engineer, I feel bad for my mate working there that night. Hella shitty situation. The stage is cramped, the mic picks up everything, and it is clearly right below the feedback threshold (you can already hear some larsen at 0:02). Pushing the vox in the PA even more, in these situations, means ending up with a fucklot of issues. Personally I wouldn't care, considering it's easycore, but feedback could annoying someone (including the artist).
