This stuff has more than twice the SHU’s (Scoville Heating Units) that Sabre Red has. Someone attempted to mug me once. I broke out the Fox 5.3 and the attacker was crying like a little school girl 😂
Someone tried to mug me by spraying me with bear spray but I started running as soon as I got sprayed. Awful experience. The only thing he got was my phone because I dropped it
Let me tell you, I’ve done extensive research on just about every pepper spray out there for my wife - Sabre, Mace, OC-17, ASP, ADAP, Kuros, Byrna, you name it. I've researched it online and also watched numerous videos/reviews on YT. Without a doubt, FOX 5.3 is the one that will absolutely get the job done and save your life. If my wife were ever approached or attacked, she could spray the attacker in the face, calmly and comfortably sit down next to them, and casually call 911 for help. She could literally comfortably sit near the attacker while talking to the police. This spray has TWICE the Scoville Heat Units needed to stop someone. Even a 450-pound, super muscular man who is strung out on heroin would be easily incapacitated for 20 minutes before he could open his eyes and function.
Man I got hit with this stuff for security training back in 2011 and having to sit for 5-7 minutes until they said our snot trails were long enough lol. Craziness. And I remember putting dish soap and water on my face and in my eyes when they allowerd us to and not feeling it lol. Dish soap doesnt even sting compared to this stuff haha! The only time I felt relief was when that dish soap and water was in my face. Even after all that washing and being careful, later that night in the shower this stuff still found a way to reactivate and permeate down my upper body. Of course it wasnt anywhere near as powerful at that point but it wasnt pleasant either. Great times!
Yeah I just got a can.. hope like hell I never need to use this nasty shit, I barely spit the original formula out at a dog once, just the freaking fumes like to have killed me lol.. Can't imagine a face full of the spray..

Milk contains dairy fat which eliminates the capsaicin's ability to produce heat. To apply this method, take a large bowl and fill it with cold whole milk and then soak the affected area for relief. You can also use a spray bottle to make it easier to rinse the eyes especially if you don't have access to a bowl. OR A COW .
Fox labs just made a 4% with 5.3 with the old solvent that we loved . Its now called 1.4 its for the caps its now 1.4 caps its double the oc at 4 and double the caps at 1.4 and old solvent that burns skin and was takin away . Its crazy wicked . Brand new.

The new fox labs just came out last month is called one point four it has 4% of 5.3 mill not 2% anymore it doubled and the regular 2% was .70 mc caps that as well douled to 1.4 mc caps the name of the spray is called one point four . Its only a month old . You may have not heard of it yet . It also uses the old heavier solvent that everyone loves that was changed to make it lighter and didnt work as fast . People complained and the old solvent is back check out nw self defense website its the only place selling it its only a month old its not out yet but he is a fox vendor allowed to sell it i bought 3 cans hope this helps u . Damn so this stuff is twice S strong as bear spray. I got sprayed with that and I was on fucking fire for close to an hour. I got it all in my eyes and on my clothes. It was everywhere. Horrible experience
No it's not. Not even close. Fox 5.3 comes in at .7% MC rating. Bear spray is 2.0% MC. I'm a law enforcement training instructor. I've been sprayed many times and sprayed many people. When you have been sprayed several different brands of spray, they all feel about the same. All high quality HPLC tested sprays are hot. Fogger/cone works the fastest. A lot quicker than stream. The hotter rated sprays take longer to decon but don't feel any hotter when you get sprayed with them. Craig Haggard is a world renowned OC instructor and he has been sprayed with way more sprays than me (over 60 times). He says the exact same thing.
I had 3 cans emptied on me when I was in the Allegheny county detention center in western Maryland. It was lunch time and I had just been seen by the Chaplin, after returning to my cell, the guard gave me my lunch as others were putting their lunch trays back in the doors for the guard to take. About 2 to 5 minutes after I received my lunch, another guard came by my cell demanding my lunch tray, I asked if I would put my lunch to a dish I had in my cell and they guard got belligerent and started going off. I told him I just received my lunch and just wanted to finish it, he then popped my cell do, came into my cell and then called for backup after entering my cell by himself. After backup arrived, he kneed me in the gut, pushed me against the wall like I was a rag doll and that's when I started to resist(after I felt my life was being threatened) 2 officers then took my by the arm, whipping my legs out and then forcing my upper half to the ground with such force my legs left the ground putting my feet higher than my waist if I was in the up right position. They then put their knees in my back and neck(like what happened to George Floyd but with out an cameras to document the incident) the guards then emptied 3 cans of fox 5 mace in my face(inches from my face directly into my mouth, nose, eyes, and ears) they then Forced me to marinate in it for almost an hour before letting me shower and be seen by a nurse. While I was in the shower, they kept making threats to hit me with the fogger because I was in such pain from the burn. That was towards the beginning of the 2012, now it's 2023 and I working on my GED so I can join my local police department here in Hagerstown so people like me don't have to deal with people like those who abuse power.
A training requirement for the Sheriff's Office. To carry pepper spray you must first understand the effects of it so if you are ever cross contaminated you understand how it feels and what your body is going to go thru. Also so it is not abused by officers.
This isn’t shit I got sprayed with Sabre red and had to sit there for 45 minutes before I could open my eyes then when I got home I had to decon myself with dish soap and water took all the capsaicin out of my skin then took a shower
Naw fam had to be your first try doing it and that was like 10 years ago they got new formula out there get that 1.4m orange label fox 4% shit got stopping power original solvent, Sabre cool but not as hot as this one
Sabre Red is actually hotter than Fox 5.3. Fox 5.3 comes in at .7% MC and Sabre Red is 1.33% MC. I've been sprayed with several different brands in training. They really don't feel that much different. I do think water based sprays have a shorter decon time. Oil based sprays burn longer. If you got sprayed with Sabre red can, that's oil based. Blue can is water based.
@SilentDiablo Yup. The reason i started researching this stuff is because i was just in situation where I had legit fear of great bodily harm but was really not sure the prosecutor would have agreed. Even if I beat the case i would have costed 5-6 figures easily. Would have much rather sprayed the guy and waited for the cops. If the guy ended up being the cops buddy or something (real possibility down here) the worst the could prove is assault. Sprays is almost always better unless the other guy clearly has a gun and no argument that he was in fear for his life.
