The FOX Medical Team talked to FOX 5 Atlanta's own Aungelique Proctor about how she's processing her medical diagnosis. She said she couldn't believe the news from doctors because of her healthy lifestyle. For now, doctors say there is no evidence of spread outside of the stomach.

Im glad they caught it at stage 2. Many beat cancer and return to a normal life. The prospects are good and I hope her Drs are well qualified.

I am glad that I came upon this news story. All the symptoms she is experiencing I'm having those right now. I'm also losing a lot of weight for no reason. I really have been worried about going into doctors offices and hospitals. After seeing this story and seeing that there is other options of treating this condition has opened my eyes. I guess my first thought would be to the family doctor and then go from there. Thank you for sharing your personal life with the world. I'm definitely saying a prayer for her and her family.

I've always loved watching Aungelique on the news. 🙏🏾😊Fatigue is a major sign of cancer. I am a survivor of cancer myself and it's not easy but necessary. I'm happy to see that Aungelique has a great support system of her family. 🥰
