I had no idea who he was until I tweeted his pic and asked my followers if any of them knew him, which I did because after I was filming I asked what he did and he said he was in media but wouldn't say more.

Tucker Carlson in is an intelligent person, what's Tucker is doing, is having a simple conversation, but extracting critical information by asking harness questions.
Crazy, This looks almost not normal, I feel like politics makes people look like terrible people and when you see Tucker he just looks so relaxed and open to discussion. Always been a fan of his work, He's an awesome dude.
I don't think the guy recording actually meant to come across as rude or confrontational. I DEFINITLY saw why Tucker Carlson was so defensive and thought some "Karen" was about to go off on him though (so did I at first). I don't think the guy realized that the way he asked "What are you doing? Are you allowed to fish here?" comes across as "You can't fish here, who do you think you are doing that?" Especially while walking up with a camera and sticking it in a guys face, that the person was going to take it as your being aggressive. He did seem like he was just genuinely surprised to see someone fishing in central park and interested in it, just not very socially aware that it would be misunderstood as rude/confrontational.
I love him. He's very cool and humble. He knew exactly what to say and how to defuse the uncomfortable situation. Personally, I would not have been so nice.
I think it's because he has *common sense* which is now very uncommon "This guy is video taping me, what angle is he pursuing ..., Oh he thought I was illegally fishing ☺️☺️.. this is going to be fun" Was probably what Tucker was thinking 😂🤷
He didn't insult him at all. He was cautious until he knew he was just recording someone fishing in the park because he was fishing in the park though. It is rude to record people in public even if legal though. 1 in 5 Americans are on medication for mental health reasons, best to keep the cameras off.
As a Canadian, this is a fascinating encounter to me. We are polite but not that warm, so we would just say hello and then go back to what we were doing but with Tucker at first he was a little in his face but then when he realized there no harm intended, he opened up and began to engage with him.

@@charleneblack2792 This was filmed at least 10 years ago (according to the when it was published). Tucker Carlson was not the biggest personality on Fox News at the time of filming as he had just joined Fox in 2009. He didn't start Tucker Carlson tonight until 2016.
You can tell that Tucker started off thinking that some paparazzi guy was following him, and was going to challenge him until after a couple of questions he realized that the guy didn't know who he was. At that point he became inquisitive and actually started interviewing the guy and having fun with it. I'm sure he didn't know that Joey Boots was with Howard Stern. Fascinating encounter overall.
He wasn't actually having fun with it , but he was able to make the other guy think that he liked the other guy . in reality his peace was disturbed and he packed up his fly fishing because he knew he wouldn't be able to enjoy his peace anymore.

Don't mean to be rude and speak ill of the deceased, but it was really rude how he approached Tucker. Tucker also showed a great amount of class keeping his cool and turning that into a cordial conversation.
I find it kind of ironic considering, Yosef was suppose to be make Tucker look like the badguy like "Oh hes a Fox media sheep" but Joey ended up passing away from Overdose I guess it just goes to show that sometimes those that live a hateful like might have more underlying issues.

It's funny that I see people say that Tucker Carlson is a sham or that he's only trying to appeal to people in the Midwest, then you see this and see how normal he is and acts very similar on TV and off it makes you think that he's most likely just an honest guy.
Tucker looks level headed and not strange at all. The questions pointed at an assumption that there was something "noteworthy" about the fact that fly fishing is allowed in Central Park. Is that not correct? (double negative) What is the point?

I like how the cameraman thought this guy was going to go off on him for filming and this guy thought the cameraman was trying to 'GOTCHA' him with a camera but when they talk and move past that misunderstanding the guy is just like 'yo I'm glad your interested in fly fishing! these are my flys that I use, omg I don't agree that people should assault you'
I thought it I was about to see some "Karen" go off on a guy for fishing, the guy is just socially awkward so he just didn't realise the way he asked about him fishing there and walking up with the camera came across as aggressive when he was just curious. It is nice they saw each other had no bad intentions in time before it got blown out of proportion.
It’s crazy this video is 10 years old, Tucker could not even walk around the way he used to, which is sad because we all have a right to an opinion, and nobody should ever try to hurt someone over it
