Episodes clips are from: Treehouse of Horror V There's no Disgrace Like Home So It's Come To This: A Simpsons Clip Show You Only Move Twice Of note: While Bart says YOMT is the "season premiere of The Simpsons", the season already started the previous week with Treehouse of Horror VII. Also in marketing for this event, Fox showed footage from The Springfield Files, even though that episode wouldn't air until January 97.

I love that fox kids did this to promote a new season of the Simpsons They even did a king of the hill promotion It’s a shame that tv networks don’t do this anymore I would love to see these promotions make a comeback

I'm months late but, wow. This is great to see, as the person who originally posted the LMW article back in 2020! For me, this all started when a friend of mine asked me (a kinda frequent user of the site at the time) to create a page on the wiki for this event. To see it be found in its entirety is honestly awesome to see, even though I didn't really participate in any of it, I'll admit. Never thought I'd end up kickstarting a successful search for lost media.

It's not just the cartoons I miss, it's all the easy to miss events and crazy bumpers that happened during. These were what made Saturday mornings alive.

It feels kind of odd seeing a show that is primarily aimed at adults be promoted on a kids network. I'm not saying that kids can't watch The Simpsons, but some of the things in it you won't find on a normal kids show..

4:32 Homer said "D'oh!" is my favorite catchphrase from original 32 scenes from Season 4 Episode 18 now called "So It's Come to This: A Simpsons Clip Show" before the 2 scenes was cut like Homer says "D'oh" at the Moe's Tavern may edit into 30 scenes for Fox Kids Bartcasting segment due to the drugs and alcohol content.

Interesting how the Fox Kids BartCasting logo still choses to give Bart a blue shirt when the show was at Season 8 by this point his blue shirt disappeared from advertising and merch, being replaced with his red shirt so it's odd that they still chose the blue one

the editing is hilariously bad but it kinda adds a sense of charm you don't get anymore. (plus I appreciate them using their cheesy hype tactics on one of the best episodes of the era imo)

In the audio commentary the staff was really mad fox did this they make a joke that the staff member that called them up to say sorry sounded the Squeaky-voiced teen
