So happy to see this video! I was actually looking at a FP James boots lot a few weeks ago, but didn’t know if I should drop the cash or not. The one I saw was $300 or $400 I think. I also thought the comps looked really good, so I think you’ll do great with them! I’d love to see a 60 or 90 days update with a liquidation pallet showing what’s sold and if or how close you are to getting your money back. I know sometimes liquidation can be a long game since it can be more competitive. Also I prefer the tan, but it might just be because I can’t not ruin white clothing items lol. My faves are def the woven ones though! I’d of guessed those comps would have been the highest because they’re so cool looking lol.
Thats so funny you saw a similar lot! Great minds think alike! I would love to do a video like that, but it is so true that sometimes liquidation does take a bit longer especially because these are boots and we are headed into spring! But, we will see how it goes! I just listed everything yesterday and have been gaining likes with one offer that I countered a little more! That would be awesome to get a sale already! Haha, I totally can understand the tan vs white!
You’re the cutest and what a fun unboxing ! Was shipping free ? The market seems pretty saturated on the Chelsea boot and we are moving into Spring . People won’t be paying full price for boots. Just my 2 cents . Enjoyed the video
Awww, thank you ❤❤Yes, shipping was free! They only took about an hour to list, so I’m totally okay with taking less profit since we are moving into spring. But, I totally understand your perspective and agree there would be less of a market!
If I didn't live in Florida, I'd buy that chocolate brown pair of boots. And I just sold a heavy suede coat this week as well as a winter scarf! Your unboxing videos are fun! And the woven boots matched your sweater!
Omg, thats so true! I just realized they matched! Ohh man, I am jealous of your FL weather. I was just there last week and it was beautiful and sunny! Ever since I have been home in Las Vegas its been windy and rainy lol
I love watching your videos ~ I always find them to be filled with important information as well as just fun in general. I think it would be great to do a follow-up video within the next couple of months to show what has actually sold and what profits you actually made. I guess my primary concern with this specific lot is the lack of overall style variety ~ which I do recognize that having multiples of the same style simplifies the listing process. Also in looking at some of the lots that you provided links for, I am seeing this exact same James Chelsea boot in those lots as well so I would definitely be concerned with over saturation which can tend to bring down the sell through rate as well as the selling cost. The other thing people need to keep in mind when purchasing one of these lots and calculating the cost of goods is that unless you are able to pay up front for the lot (i.e., not having to use a credit card) or have the funds to be able to pay the credit card bill during the first 30 days, you will be charged interest fees on any unpaid balance which raises the overall cost of goods. I previously tried my luck at listing and selling shoes since they were relatively easy to photograph and list. I must say that I did not have an overwhelming amount of success, but in full transparency I was only listing and selling on Poshmark. And I have personally experienced an overall downward trend regarding sales in pretty much all categories that I have tried on this platform so hopefully cross listing the shoes across multiple platforms will increase your odds of selling everything quickly and for a great profit. Again, it would be awesome to see a follow-up video on this lot (as well as your other lots) as that will be the true deciding factor as to whether the box was worth it or not. Good luck, Lindsay!!
Thank you so much for your feedback and for always watching! I would love to do an update on this box! I actually just filmed a vlog and included an update on my Ted Baker box I have unboxed recently. I will be including updates in my vlogs as I continue to sell. I am definitely aware some of these styles are oversaturated, but a lot of the items I have bought in the past were too. Personally, I am okay taking less profit when it comes to the time saving. But, of course selling is the true factor as you mentioned! So, we will see! Hopefully it works out!
They had TONS of Free People Boots on sale at Nordstrom Rack for about the same price. I only bought 4 pairs. Have sold 2 over 30 days. They were not the big seller I had hoped. But the two I have left are my size at least. The comps I saw were about the same. And the two sold were BARELY $100+, so if you are OK with double, you will be fine. Thank you for sharing!!
@@LindsayNicolepm It's confusing. Just double check. I have a pending case on a pair of mens 44 which depending what chart I check says 10, 10.5, and 11. idk
Super cute boots! I have them but in the dupe brand version lol still really good condition even though mine aren't leather. They go with everything! I was wondering if you are ever worried about the items being too saturated on poshmark? I think this is what I'm so afraid of from buying from fox liquidation and even boutique by the box they all sell the same items. When looking on comps they are selling for more than 100 but there is so many in this style is that a worry for you also? Wishing you many sales 🩷
Omg, how fun! I love this style of boot! I have a similar pair myself and they are my fav for that exact reason! I can totally understand where you are coming from, but honestly I am not too nervous as I have been buying liquidation and “over saturated” items for years now. As long as I go in with the intention knowing I may have to give these listings more attention and expect a little less.. I still think it is worth it because it’s saving me so much time. Hope that provides you with some insight! 🥰
Houdini is free range when I am home because sometimes he will chew up the carpet when I’m not around. But, since I work from home it works out that he is out 80% of the day! I did litter box train him!
In my rough estimate I didn’t just for times sake.. but that’s why I added that little footnote about shipping discounts when calculating. Totally understand that I will be eating some shipping costs! Sadly! Haha! 🤣
Since I sell a lot of New in the Box shoes and boots on Poshmark I have learned to make a bigger box using 2 large free boxes from the post office. I also purchased some Home Depot small moving boxes for around $1 each for mailing. If anyone has better tips on procuring large enough boxes to fit boots in box please let me know. Thanks 🌷
The styles look good and comps are high but the sell through is what worries me. I checked a few and the sell through is just not high enough in my opinion. It's more of a long term investment than I'm comfortable with.
@@LindsayNicolepm Sometimes it's worth the investment! I've been in such a turn and burn mode lately. A friend of mine just got a pallet of womens outerwear - it was so cheap since we are going into spring. But I could not imagine getting a pallet of coats right now! The storage alone would scare me right off. Although these boots are all high end. So I could understand picking up these, kinda similar to formalwear in terms of turn around time
No I don’t think you got a good deal those boots aren’t even cute. I’m sorry but I feel like you got ripped off. But I hope you sell enough to not be flat broke. Also I love your channel and all the hard work you do with it.
the more that I watch your fox liquidation videos the more I am convinced that they are NOT worth the investment....the cost of good is way to high for the possible return of investment. you still need to put alot of work to list and ship to just be making around 30$ profit per item.....
I am at least happy it has helped you make a concise decision for your business. That’s always the goal for my videos. To share my experiences, so you can decide 🙂 I just vlogged listing these items recently and it only took about an hour to list everything. For me, that’s totally worth it! But, can definitely understand your point of view and totally respect your feedback!
I sell mainly name brand new in box shoes, boots. Doubling your money on these is normal. Gone are the days when we could get COG on these low enough to triple and quadruple our money. I also stopped worrying about over saturation as my items always sell. Thanks for sharing 🌷💗
