I love looking at the return tags at REI in their outlet section. Ranging from damaged or missing pieces to like "mittens too long for my coat"

I think it only annoys them when they're lying or when they have broken the product themselves. They feel like they are being interrogated .... not saying all but that's how i look at it

You want your money back from the product you don't want, and you don't want to write a book with customer service about why you're returning the item, nor do you want to jump through a million hoops just to return something. So many places purposefully make it so difficult, so the last thing a customer wants is pointless survey questions

@@mihir9608 that i was missing pieces and that i needed to order replacement pieces. I always offered to pay for the pieces but typically it was just bolts or small pieces so they would just send them to me free.

That gives me hope, I reached out to the supplier of an item I received on a pallet - office chair has 2 left arms! One was labeled R but... haven't heard back yet 🤞🏼

My true love when it comes to dishware. ❤💕💞 I still have one each of the large plates from my mom's two different old sets from when I was a kid (and I think they might be older than me but I never checked) that managed to survive my klutz stage! Honestly, I'd have more of those but too many people liked to "borrow" dishes and mom was too trusting back then (may she R. I. P.). 😅 Plus I have a newer complete 4 person square set (large and small plate, bowl and mug). I'm actually considering getting another set in just basic white because every other set my mother and I have owned has had patterns but those go out of style eventually or you get tired of them. Basic white can at least mix and match with other items easily enough to spice them up no matter the style, lol. 😁👍

Yes, when they shatter it's pretty spectacular, but it's really rare that they shatter!

fun fact I learned: it shatters into little pieces as a safety thing! bigger pieces are more likely to be sharp, jagged, or heavy:)
