After Trevor leaving we all wondered what next, but this year has proven what an institution The Daily Show is. I loved the run of guest hosts, but I really appreciate the og staff getting their time. They have all killed it in their own way. Go Desi
I got to tell you, that was one of the funniest lines I’ve heard yet, but do have to wonder… wouldn’t that be like someone cutting their d off cause they blamed it on the v d? It may have got you v d ( big a payout) but we can only hope they go after those that allowed said Richard to go play with the unclea

It should just cycle between cast members and just have guest hosts rarely every now and then. The core cast each has their strengths and brings value to the group. But at the core, each of them carry the tone of the daily show well.
I was already having a hard time deciding between Jordan and Roy, but had almost made a decision. Now this. Gotta scrape all my progress and start over.
Don't forget Hasan Minhaj, he might actually have been the best of them all, though they were all amazing. Desi is slaying it. Still need to see Kosta too.

@@ericabertagnoli5469 I got to the same conclusion. It keeps the show fresh and still feels familiar. Plus, each Host of the week gets a chance to roast their friends/coworkers...

One of the funniest since Leslie. One of the more balanced between sarcasm and self awareness since Silverman. The best natural presence since Roy. Somehow she is better than Jordan which I wouldn't have believed yesterday. Jordan is just on another level, mind you, I'm not saying he is less in any way. Desi is absolutely brilliant.
I just genuinely think all the reporters on the show are so talented. I think this might be a great model, to just continuously have guest hosts. I don’t know what it does to the model of the show, but I enjoy seeing them all have a go at it. They all do it really well. Props to Desi, props to them all!
Yeah I'm enjoying this too. Having a fresh monologue style each week. I love Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert, but cycling through comedians seems like a way better way to roll. Would love to see them keep it up.
Man, I'm so glad Desi was the host for the Tucker news. Sure anyone could have done it, but her kind of casual, sly humor totally worked. I love all the Daily Show correspondents as hosts so far.

@James Sheppard That would be an epic combination in that the scale of their loss would be epic. I completely support this combination for the Republican party and when they lose that election they can go on to lose the next one after that. I hope trump hangs from the Republican's necks for many years. New Yorkers voted 90% against trump in 2015 becuase they knew what a petty con man joke that he was, it's just amazing the Republicans never figured that out, except for their leaders that lie to you like Fox did that they are behind him and in person despise him.

So far I've loved Roy, Jordan and Desi as hosts. I don't know who CC will pick for a permanent host, but I'd love it if it was one of those three. They are all great.

Honestly, I'd love to have them just rotate Desi, Roy and Jordan on a weekly basis. They are each brilliant at the main desk in their own way. Roy is dangerously funny, Desi delivers sarcasm flawlessly, and Jordan is brilliantly insightful.

I like Roy just a little better, but maybe have both of them host like a 'real' news broadcast where there are co-anchors? They play off each other so well, it might be a fun twist.
Sarah Silverman's style felt the most reminiscent to both Trevor and Jon's style of the guest hosts. The current correspondents taking the desk, on the other hand, has been an absolute joy. Desi is really shining as a host. Had me genuinely laughing out loud throughout this video (the dark humor around the Elon bits had me). Can't wait to see her crush it throughout the week!
Desi and Roy were the best fit out of the correspondents. I did like John Leguizamo but I haven't seen him in anything else. I did not care fro Silverman as host, standup yes, Daily show no. But likely none of us have a say.
So far Sarah Silverman and Jordan Klepper have been my favourites, after Jon, Trevor was meh for me. But Desi has always been the insane comedy gold in foxsplains and her other pieces on the field much like Klepper.
I'm a Silverman fan, too. Some of the others seemed to be trying too hard but Sarah killed it. The regular alums have done a great job, too. Desi is my second choice so far.
Best show this year. I know it wasn’t even a skit but oh my lord real women of politics is my shower power ballad now. The fish part made me legit cry 😂
Thank you Dezi for making me realize I actually am a woman. It took me 26 years but I finally acknowledge... That I also cannot decide how many exclamations to use in an email.
That joke almost tanked, the audience got too wound up during the set up. That one detail aside she did great. It almost appeared as if she was nervous during the first few beats, but she shook that off and hit her stride. Roy's callback closer was hilarious.
Just like how successful Megan Kelly Podcasts is going..Tucker will be fine in the ''independent'' scene. Then we can all watch the Liberal meltdowns commence .... Rogan, Kelly amongst others have SUCCESSFUL podcasts that all TELL LIKE IT IS!! Liberals ALWAYS have meltdowns over all the non Liberal based podcasters
I wanna see Jordan and Desi be co-hosts. Big desk, dual anchors a-la SNL weekend update style. It would be fresh and shake up the Daily Show for its new chapter.
I’m excited to finally see Desi behind the desk and loving her already. If Comedy Central wants to bring in more viewers, it MUST be a female host. If not Desi, then Wanda Sykes or Sarah Silverman.
