As much as I love all the guest hosts, I just want to say that so far, my favorites have been the actual cast of the show picking up the reins and running. They’ve been amazing.

Desi Lydic is breaking it. For me she is the strongest candidate to take the job. She should def look for gig as a presenter. Congrats Daily Show having all these guest and correspondents presenting has been a hit, so much fun!
that bit at the vet was great, what really captivated me was the line "its ok, she doesn't have to explain herself" AFTER asking questions to explain why the need for the prescription
I found the ending quite humorous, but I legit had a moment where I wanted to cry. Knowing there are women, who have children and would like to have health care to make sure she can provide for her existing children. It was the “it ok she doesn’t need to explain herself.”
Desi has always had a few shining moments but this skit with the dog actually made me sigh, laugh, nod, and cry all at the same time. It made me want to go to the trouble of finding the rest of the weeks shows and I haven't done that since Trevor left... and I am going to rewatch this one - which I never do.
Fantastic skit with the Veterinarian! I really laughed so hard, because my daughter is a Vet ,in Texas of all horrible places (Iowa, where she grew up not much better now). I wonder if she's having to deal with similar situations! Hahaha ❤❤😂

The Daily Show bench strength is just incredible!! I have gone from thinking about who should take over to "fck it, this is great, let's just have a rolling list of hosts forever". They are all awesome in their own ways!!
Well, I seem to remember a GOP politician comparing women to cattle not that long ago, so yeah, to those guys, we're just animals with no right to make decisions for ourselves.

This is the daily show that we desperately needed but didn't deserve. This sketch is made much funnier by the way she cracks jokes while maintaining a straight face.
Many seem to not realize that Trump is an old man too. So if the choice is between two old candidates, I'll vote for the one who knows that doing the crime means you will have to do the time.

Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Dianne Feinstein (D-California) who are both 87 years old and continue to work their jobs. Bernie Sanders (D-Vermont) who turns 80 this fall, and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) who turns 79 next month. It takes years to make connections with enough people in DC to actually get something done. That's why the old are still in office. I'm not saying I agree with it. It's just a fact of life in Washington.
@@Brasswatchman Lol, Bernie was MY reason for posting said quote. He didn't make it as the candidate for Presidency as I hoped. Although I'm not sure if dealing with the current economic turmoil is Sander's forte, the choice was Biden or Trump. Based on Biden's past policies I knew it was just going to be politics as usual if he's in the WH. Trump on the other hand was the ultimate hard pass.

I would say that in 20 to 30 years, the current woke generation will look back in disbelief with respect to the things that they said and positions that they took. My generation did. Let's hope that things do not get out of control before then. Right now, we are playing right into the hands of the anti-American powers to be.
I know that This is only her second day and there are more correspondents and guest hosts still to come, but I'm ready to declare that I want Desi and Roy to take over as permanent co-hosts. I also want the show expanded to be an hour long with new segments allowing all of the correspondants more time to shine. I want moar of all of these people and moar of this show. Shall we talk about how many of them become pregnant? How many of them become addicted to drug or alcohol? How many if them become criminals?
Oof the dog skit was pretty emotional. Even for a comedy sketch it pretty accurately portrays what some women are going to have to go through thanks to our hopelessly blind leaders.

Well now that Biden has announced he is running, Trumper might as well fold his teepee and go home. He is done. Most independent voters are backing Biden.
