I have a Honda 2022 CRF 450 and I had the suspension done front and rear and it is still as stiff as a covered wagon the stiffest suspension I've ever rode on any bike in my entire life
Awesome racing. Boy, I remember winning at Southwick on a REALLY hot 100 degree day. I came off the track and almost keeled over as the heat just went WOOSH up through my leathers and helmet. Good thing some nice fan was there to grab my bike as I nearly fell over trying to hold it. RESPECT for anyone racing in this type of heat.
What a shame that motocross/supercross has come to this.We have big name teams such as Suzuki bailing out due to cost. This sport has been so frustrating, The powers that be just have this entire thing set up wrong,It all starts with these bikes sounding so silly. They need to go back to 2 strokes to give them the sound. The sound and looks are just as important as speed. They need to make motocross very cool and macho again. The need heros in the sport. The tracks are also set up wrong. They are great tracks and much safer but they really need so slight changes for the fans. I really can't believe all this is happening to such a great sport. 25 years ago that track would be packed with people and there is hardly anyone at this race,
Matt I disagree with your comment and I know it's 2 months old as I reply to it, so I won't get into the 2vs4 stroke discussion. The only real rebuttal that I want to note that this was during a heatwave that was absolutely brutal and the Pala track is in the middle of the desert with no shade. It was an absolute oven out there. I commend anyone that hung out all day there in that heat. I went to Pala 1 the past two years and it was much more full than this. Pala in general has some nice sightlines that allow a good viewing experience throughout the track.
@@schoonhovenk I can agree on that Kevin. The issue I discussed is multiple issues that have caused serious problems with the sport compared to its glory days. I know that we agree that we both love the sport but I want to see it big again, much bigger. It’s just an incredible sport but it has to have it hero’s and it’s made big by many different factors.
@@zackk695 Hey that's fair as well! I actually feel like we're entering a bit of a new golden era with these veteran riders and young guns going tit for tat weekly. Eli and Chase's battle last year in the outdoors was legendary and must see TV every week and this year's supercross is no different. The days of one rider dominating weekly and checking out may not be over, but they're at least paused. Every week is something new and exciting, and chase, cooper, and Eli have produced some amazing races this year, plus you get the one off races with other challengers up front like AP or Roczen. Plus we have Jett entering the 450s this summer and hopefully a healthy Ferrandis. I think the sport is in a good spot and is on a bit of a rebound after a sluggish 2010s where the champs are milquetoast personalities. I was at A1 and A2 this year as well and it was packed and loud both times. But hey we shall see over time how it turns out!
@@schoonhovenk it’s going to be a good year for sure. I haven’t kept up with all the races so I will pull up those your talking about it I can find them
at least he talks from experience and can give that perspective. better than the last few years of announcers who had no experience on a track and you could tell
@@codymarquez4552 A good commentator adds to the race does not talk over it over and over again. Stewart is a train wreck on and off the track. Stay retired.
