Fox Rage is one of the best lure brand for pike, perch and other predator fish, Replicant is their best (i do use that and it's amazing)

Great review, I really love the way the soft plastics move but they just don’t last. The Fox rage, Savage Gear and Westin all really good lures but two or good takes and then they are shredded , I end up gluing or hot knife repairs. For the money you’d thought they’d last a bit longer?

Hey mate, with ur soft lures if ur not using a rug that detaches away from the lure try that, if so I'd say savage gear soft lures are trash for durability. I'd say fox, strike Pro, gator and svartzonker have good durability but it happens tbh I find some super glue does the job. Also if u haven't heard of the head banger shad or if u don't k ow of the svartzonker mctail rigged with a paddle tail I'd recommend them for something similar to a soft shad

Place the treble hooks in the body, pike missed the hooks because they are to far from the body

Spot on review, bang on with saying good winter bait, used this and the old version last year with the internal frame and both were cracking in the freezing cold when nothing else would get a take. Hate that! co-op had the 1lt bottles on offer few weeks back and I lost whole lt in bag 🤣🤣🤣🤣
