Gary Burr sits down with FOX17's Johnny Maffei to talk about his new book, "Reunion." Burr is known for his 14 #1 songs and working with artists like Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, and Ringo Starr.
"Reunion" is Burr's imagination of one more Beatles concert. It's a nostalgia trip he wrote when songwriting sessions over Zoom calls during the pandemic just didn't feel the same as meeting in-person.
Maffei also asks Burr about the current state of country music and what he thinks of the "pop country" vs "real country" argument.
